So there goes my plans to buy a ROG SWIFT lol

Damn think I'll stick to my 27" IPS ASUS 60hz

if you check the motherboard RMA thread, asus has so many complaints that the BBB put out a warning against them which asus has yet to address. buyer beware

Amazon stopped selling the Acer IPS G-Sync for the same reason.

Really, G-Sync has got a bad name due to all these shitty, poorly made monitors.

WOW I didn't know that happened to the Acer =)

I would say Freesync is the way to go but it doesn't look any better for the ASUS freesync monitor that just came out.

The new Dell or Eizo gaming monitors could prove ASUS and ACER wrong but if those do bad then you know it's something with Gsync or Freesync

144hz monitors or less seem like the safe bet without the sync tehnology.

Issues with backlight bleed, dead pixels, dust smugdes etc have nothing to do with Gsync modules or freesync.

Yeah that is the majority of complaints but on the ROG forums you have people who had the monitor from 2 weeks and 3 months and it doesn't even turn on.

I wouldn't necessarly give too much about this. Amazon is quick it to put items under internal review.
