What Shape Is The Internet?

They keep telling me it's a cloud, so...I guess at least a couple of these patents got it right?

It's a cloud. And only meteorologists are experts on clouds so we need to consult them. :D

The internet is series of mesh network connections. So the shape would be mesh or polygon type.

Back in the early 90s I had a poster map of the Internet that came in some magazine and it looked a lot like the London tube.

Actually I always envisioned it as a really fucked up, densely woven spider web, much like a web created by a female black widow spider..

It's no wonder that 'the cloud' has become the buzz word for the past couple years if they only depict it as a large community participated ambiguous fart.

I'd say the internet resembles an imperfect wire-frame sphere. Considering it is physically made from a series of wires, cables, etc. that wrap around the entire planet.

I imagine it looks kind of like the milky way. On the outside we have the collective sum of human knowledge .... which is spiraling towards the center. A black heat of ignorance, fear, and hate.

It's rectangular.. all servers are rectangular, all racks are rectangular, and its all connected through tube shaped wires in tube shaped pipes. I mean, duh. ;)

I feel like we could make a robot out of this description.. Wires tubes and rectangles.. that's how robots are made, right?

All I know is the red coloured internet has more ram than the others
