Anybody have a good source for Shielded CAT6 (or CAT6a) components? Or any good suggestions?

I meant more along the lines of Bulk Cable, Keystone's, RJ45, etc.

Why CAT 6?

Don't stop there. Go with shielded CAT 7 600mhz 10Gbit cable.

Got one of these and it works well. Obviously, without the right equipment you can't use its 10Gbit capacity. :D

CAT7 isn't recognized by TIA/EIA.

Also, Cat 6 is barely a real standard, is not called for in any spec, and will not support 10 Gb to full distance (especially if many lines are bundled together). Cat 6a is specified for 10 Gb, but it's very pricy and more difficult to install properly.

Also, it's highly unlikely that your environment is one where the extra cost and installation hassle of shielded cabling is warranted.

Stick with regular, unshielded Cat 5e.
