Nexus 6 32GB $350 64GB $400 From Amazon

Was just about to post this... reeeeeally tempting to upgrade from my M8.

FYI, this works on ALL carriers, Verizon and Sprint included. Just pop your existing SIM in and go.

Couldn't they have waited until they unveiled the Huawei.

Amazing phone, just slightly too big for this guy. Leaving a note 4 also for next smaller nexus. Miss a smaller device.

Great price.

That's what she said? :D

I'm looking forward to another small (relatively) Nexus myself, too many huge flagships. The only thing I've seen that was even remotely tempting the last couple years was the Z3c, almost went for an OG Moto X over my current N5 but ultimately I'm glad to have gone Nexus.

I didn't mind the price hike on the N6 for the class of device it was, just the lack of choice in sizing, it's about time they did more than one per year. There's been rumors floating to that effect for like three years.

I have this phone, love it. a bit big but the speeds and the unlockable boot loader made it all worth it.

Awesome deal. If I hadn't just recently acquired my G4, I'd be all over this deal!! Perfect if you are wanting to try Google Fi!

I'll take the opposite side - purchased my N6 2 months ago to use with my Project Fi invite. Got rid of the N6 last week and moved back to Verizon. The N6 is just too big and the camera is not good at all.

Thanks. Nice to hear from all sides. :)

I have this phone and love it. I bought it because currently it's the only phone that you use on Google's Project Fi network. But that will soon be changing shortly as two new Nexus phones are about to be released.

It's huge ( fitting for a man ) 6" screen. Has all the bells and whistles, shoots 4k video, 13mp rear camera sensor with HDR+. I have the 64gb version. It's kinda hard to fill the camera's memory up.

One of my favorite features is the auto-sync with Google Photos. As soon as I get on wifi it just auto uploads everything.

The last few phones I've had over the past 3 years were the LG G2, Oneplus One and now the Nexus 6. I plan on keeping the Nexus 6 until something exciting comes out in early to mid 2017. Hoping for a 23mp Camera and longer battery life. I am absolutely not interested in a 4k screen on a small mobile device.

Wow, this is a killer deal.
But... Do I jump on this or wait for the new Nexus phones?
I just don't want to buy this and then find out that the new one(s) are a million times better for around the same cost.

The new ones aren't going to be a million times better and the same cost. The new ones will be incrementally better and at least $500

The smart money always buys last year's flagship. been doing that ever since LG G2 and loving life

I was just reading the reviews and it seems there are a lot of people who are having issues with this phone. The major problem seems to be a swelling battery. Not good. :(

Yeah I had the Droid Turbo and it was a pile of garbage. I don't trust Motorola at all. I hope that they don't make any more Nexus phones

Love my N6. Got the latest beta SlimKat 5.1.1 build running a ElementalX kernel. The thing just flies. It makes the Note 4 i was using before feel like a slug.

My only gripe about the phone is that it gets warm fast, even at stock. That being said, i've had 0 stability issues, stock or at my normal operating 2.803ghz. I could also wish they had used the N5's rubber backing materiel for the N6, but the current material used isn't too bad...just as nice.

The only problem is that this phone used the Snapdragon 805, which wasn't a flagship SoC..That would have been the SD 810, but since that thing had a lot of throttling issues, I guess Google/Moto decided to play it safe and take the lower performing but more stable 805...

I am interested in it as my Verizon contract is coming to an end next month, but my current Note3 isn't much slower (if at all)...The N6 does have a higher screen vs the 1080P of my Note 3, but I am worried what that will do to battery life..I guess I might hold off and see what pops up in the next ~7 weeks..

Worthwhile upgrade from a LG G2?

Depends what kinds of things you value in a phone. Main thing is that it'll be bigger. And sure slightly faster and snappier. Then again the G2 isn't a slouch in that department. So many people I know bought cheap refurb G2's just because the value for money ratio is incredible even though it came out nearly 2 years ago.

Comparison:

The G2 was equivalent to the Nexus 5 , so the Nexus 6 is a generation forward. You might just wait til the successor to the Nexus 6 comes down in price for a more substantial jump.

Great price! Still rocking my LG3. LG has confirmed its getting 6.0 so I will skip this generation.

Going to give it a shot. Thursday delivery. LG G2 screen backlight just went out and phone is so dim you cant see in any kind of lighted area. Only 4 months old. Not very happy with LG they want to do mail in service on the phone. Guess ill sell the fixed/replacement and try this out, just sucks OOS everywhere and Frys wouldnt match price on it so I have to go a few days without a usable phone.

Its worth mentioning that Best Buy also has it available at that price. I ordered it from there since Amazon "usually ships within 9 to 11 days"

Mine will be here tomorrow.

I'm upgrading from my LG G3 as I've always been intrigued with the N6's Amoled display. It should arrive on Thursday. It was between this phone or the Moto X Pure but I wanted to try the slightly larger display.

Doesn't this phone have burn-in issues? Remember seeing plenty of vids when it came out of people having obvious burn-in issues just days after using it. Really turned me off on this.

Haven't heard any such complaint from the friends and coworkers that have one.

Never experienced this issue, and I have used several Nexus 6' exclusively as my phone since it launched last year.

I received it 2 days ago and have been playing around with it. The screen has a warmer color setting which kind of makes the whites more yellow as has been discussed before. To remedy this, install the free app "Screen Balance". It changes the color temp setting to cool making it much more akin to LCD whites.

I've read that the phone is overly large and not for small hands. Well, I have small hands and was a little worried about it but after receiving it, I'm very happy with the size. It's about the same size as a iPhone 6 Plus but with more screen real estate and smaller bezels. The curved back really helps with holding it and so far, I love the phone.

Standard Android OS is definitely much more snappier than the LG skinned Android on my LG G3. With the G3, I notice many stutters and lag when opening apps, cycling through apps and scrolling up and down web pages. Those same tasks with the N6 is buttery smooth and I'm very impressed.

All in all, I'm glad I made the plunge. I usually get the latest and greatest every year but I'm content with last year's Nexus flagship and I don't think I'll ever downgrade to any screen smaller than 6". Hopefully, the 2016 Nexus flagship will have a 6" screen as well.

Just purchased from Amazon... Price vs stats can't be beat ATM. After a few days without a case my impressions are... Size.. takes a bit to get use to but love it. Speed... Excellent.
My one negative comment would have to be the fact that it does not lay flat on a surface.. so typing on a surface causes the phone to shake.
For this price I would buy it again in a heartbeat.. Recent prior Phones include Nexus 4 and 5.

Ditched my One Plus One for a Nexus 6. Very happy. All the OPO had going for it was hype and [initially] price. OPO isn't that special a phone and I've lost all interest in the OP2.

Long Live Nexus 6.

Don't want to call you a liar but the page says otherwise.

Unlocked cell phones are compatible with GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile as well as with GSM SIM cards (e.g. H20, Straight Talk, and select prepaid carriers). Unlocked cell phones will not work with CDMA Carriers like Sprint, Verizon, Boost or Virgin.

Yeah, that page is wrong. That statement is true of pretty much all other unlocked phones though. The Nexus 6 and the newly released Moto X pure are the exception though, along with some variants of the iPhone. These phones support those CDMA bands and will have no issue working on Verizon or Sprint.

Anyone buying this phone at this price should be arrested... Its a steal!! Absolutley enjoying my N6 and see no reason to upgrade anytime soon. Have had it since the LG G3 dissapointed me at launch. No regrets with my N6.Just installed BlissPop on it and was surprised when a LED lit up ob top of the phone.Had heard about it a while ago but forgot.. Nice touch and awesome ROM to run since Pure Shamu went under.

Ah was not aware of this. It's tempting but I think my G3 will last me awhile still.

Please post your thoughts. I am thinking of doing the same thing. I want a pure stock Android. Tired of Skinned shit like touchwiz etc...

This phone still worth the price? Being 2014 model and all.

I am currently on Tmo and have a older S4. It works but I HATE the TW firmware required to make wifi calling work. Also would like something bigger. Not sure about 6" big though.

If I buy this the S4 would get put on a new line and passed down to my daughter that is about the right ago for her own phone.

My device has been rock-steady since purchase. I did quickly move to an unencrypted kernel/rom, but i've never had any apparent failures from the hardware itself.

I believe 90% of the issues at release and soon afterward were related to that whole forced encryption debacle. It apparently turned the user experience so negative that people actually thought the handset itself was junk. Trust me, that is not the case! My N6 is a speed demon, and it's frankly all i've ever wanted in a phone.
