I decided it was time to replace my M518, so I ordered and received a G502 yesterday based on the reviews.

I've never seen such a bag of likes and dislikes in one product. After 1 day I can't stand it any more.

First, and this is the killer for me, is the scroll wheel is awful. How logitech thought not using a .001 cent strip of rubber on the contact surface was a good idea is beyond me.

It goes back to Amazon.

So, what next?

I definitely want a mouse with a weighted, high speed scroll wheel. I play a lot of War of Warships, and that uses a ton of fast scroll in, scroll outs. I want to flick that thing and have it take off :)

My hands are medium sized, but a bit puffy, and it needs to be comfortable.

I was thinking of the Corsair M65. Any other idea's ?

The M65 is pretty small. I gave away mine after a few months. The RAT mice have a lot of customization options. I'm still addicted to my 10-year old Diamondback.

I went with the Cougar M700. I like where the buttons lay out.

I like my M65. But if you're used to the 518 I think you'll hate it. They are nothing alike, at least in form.

Got the Cougar M700 in. I love the way it fits me. The buttons fall exactly where they need to be.

It makes the G502 look and feel worse than it did before.

Now for the keyboard. I have a SteelSeries MERC which is pretty awesome for gaming, but it absolutely useless for typing/work. The keys are far to light, have zero feedback, and half of them are not where they should be for traditional typing. I need a KB that will be equally as good at work and play. And I want RGB.

Thought of the K70 but everywhere I've read says the Corsair software is the worst collection of digital bits to ever be assembled into one big turd. Good hardware though :)

Initially, yes, we did run into some problems within the SW's features, but those are all gone now, as we have been pretty on point addressing persistent bugs the moment we see it. We have seen a huge improvement in the last few versions, especially the latest version. It has gotten so much better now compared to 4-5 months ago.

Might go for it. I'm thinking the Browns are best for a combo gaming/work keyboard, right???

Ok. next time K70's go on sale at Amazon, I'm in.

I'm NOT paying $180 for a keyboard :)

Got tired of waiting. Bought the k95 rob brown for $169. Same price as the 70, so why not :)

M65 is heavy and much smaller than deathadder and much better quality too I wishit were a tad bit smaller though
