Not sure if anyone else has seen this but Mad Max Pre-Order is on sale for $19.99 on cdkeys.

I went ahead and bit at that price and the amazing gameplay videos figured it was a good deal.

http://www.cdkeys.com/pc/games/mad-max-pc

I received my Steam activation key a day after I ordered.

This did work - I've got Mad Max in my Steam library at the moment. Definitely a better price than GMG is offering at the moment, and with it being this cheap, I don't think I'd mind getting the 'Season Pass' that I think we all know is coming.

I bit, cdkeys.com is well established and has been around for a while now. They had a great customer experience from what I read regarding the GTAV pre-orders, so if something happens I will update it here.

Yeah - my rationale is $20 is low enough to take a risk, and if it goes through, the savings will make me more eager to buy DLC.

It added to my steam account without issue. Good deal, the game looks awesome.

Nice! We get the Ripper DLC included, too. Everything went through with my Steam account.

Thanks, OP!

No prob! everything just looks so great for this game! Can't wait. Plus after seeing Fury Road I want to kick the crap outta some peeps and drive a crazy ass car.

I was going to wait on this. I really don't have time for it with MGS V coming the same day (and I've still got several other open world games half finished).

But for $20... it just looks too fun.

Is this game going to have any single player DLC? If so then 20 bucks is not low enough if there is more crap to buy later to get the "complete" game.

You must not play may games at launch...

Just about every single player oriented game has SP DLC. Who cares? If you don't like DLC, don't buy it. That doesn't change the value of the game at release.

As far as I've seen they haven't said anything about their plans for post release DLC. So far the only DLC known is the pre-order Ripper stuff and some PS4 timed exclusive hood ornaments.

Maybe read a little closer next time. I do want single player content if there is any which is the whole point of what I was asking. If this game has planned single player then I will just wait until everything is released. Many times its cheaper to get the full version of a game later then to try and add DLC later as it does not always get as deep of a discount.

Yeah I had checked the Steam page and did not see any but I have not been following the game all that close so was not sure if any future content had been mentioned.

The tone of your post made it sound as though SP DLC was not something you were fond of.

Regardless, I don't know if any single player DLC. The only DLC I've seen talked about is The Ripper (which comes with this, and is just modifications to your car), and the Sony exclusive stuff which I think is just cosmetic crap. It's probably safe to assume it will eventually have single player DLC eventually. The better question is, at $20... how long is it going to take before you see a "complete pack" at a lower price than what it would cost to just buy the game now and pick up the DLC when it comes out?

Well I am only looking at total price and I am in no hurry to get the game since I have a pretty big backlog. As I mentioned earlier, I just hate to pay for a game where its cheaper to buy the "complete" version than it is to add the DLC even when its on sale. Dishonored and a few other games were like that and it was cheaper to just to buy the "game of the year" than it was to buy just some of the DLC.

Just bought it. Activated fine. You really can't beat this at the price. Crazy....I always said that 60 is way too much for all these new Triple A games. I remember spending 60 on The Order...Such a waste for only 6 hours of gameplay. I have to admit...I love deals like this. Makes PC gaming the true Master Race =P.

Probably gonna nab Metal Gear, Battle Front, and Fallout 4 somewhat soon as well. 40 each seems a fair price..60 was just too much.

Might wanna try looking for an Nvidia code for MGS V. I paid $30. Can't beat it!

while i can set aside my dislike of the recent movie the total lack of any pre-release reviews turns me off... what's funny is the protagonist doesn't look quite right - looks like they took the guy straight out of the last of us.

I'm in, for $20 why not. I got 60 hours out of Just Cause 2, hopefully I can get at least half that and be happy.

I'll never understand why people pre-order crap. The potential extra DLC is rarely worth the risk.

Pre-order for $20.

Buy at release for $45 - $60.

Not complicated.

Just bought Mad Max & MGS5. Never transacted with sites like these before. Always thought they seemed too shady.

Wish me luck....

with as little coverage and hype as this thing has been I wouldnt even at that price, has all signs of being crap.

Whatever the quality of the end product is, the franchise is a hard sell. For moves Mad Max has a long, respected, history. Yet, even with that it couldn't crack #1 on it's open weekend and it wasn't this massive blockbuster movie. On the video game side the last game in the franchise was on the NES in 1990. The look and feel of Mad Max has been part of video games since the original Fallout. Due to how much it's been copied it doesn't feel original to the video game space. The timing of the release date also labels it as a movie game even though it isn't. On top of that there is MGSV launching the same day. I'm not surprised by WB not quite feeling completely confident in the game. Then again WB didn't seem entirely confident in Shadows of Mordor either and that became a surprise hit, so we'll see.

Good point...I think a lot of SoM's success was geared around the #6GBofVramGate though...It had certainly missed my radar, yet when I saw the whole thing about the game needing the extra Vram (which was of course debunked) to play in all it's glory, my heavily OC'd 290 threw a temper fit and demanded I buy it so he could prove 4GB was enough!!!

If it hadn't been for that Vram flap, I would have missed out on a wonderful game..I even paid full price for it on Steam after narrowly missing a deal for it from GMG for $45 (damn their stupid CC processor!!)....

I am most likely willing to spend $20 on this MM title..I didn't care for this last movie too much..It seemed like half of the movie had Tom Hardy as the stupid "blood bag" prisoner and the whole "Green Place" idea was sorta badly done IMO...

Pre-order for $20.

Buy at release for $45 - $60.

Not complicated.

For every Witcher 3, we have Batman AK and MKX.

Sure, the price is great, but the recent batting average for functional AAA games at release hasn't been all that high...

Thankfully Avalanche is developing the PC version in house so that does give it a leg up over B: AK and MKX.
