Refurb. EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB Video Card $155 - Promo Code

Are these the same ones that EVGA advertises on their B-Stock website from time to time at $149.99? Still, nice deal :) . Far better than the overpriced $230 they normally go for!

That's the FTW model. I think this model that's in the OP sometimes go for the $149.99 on the EVGA B stock site. Still, this is a great deal from Newegg!

This deal is back on for a couple of days.

Don't forget to use your AMEX card for an additional $10 off, if you've got that promo on your AMEX card.

I bought this deal last week, for $144.99 after AMEX discount.

Got the card in last night. It's running fine, no coil whine or anything. Came well-packaged. But really was just the bare card, no accessories.

The card runs very cool. staying below 60, or just at 60, even at full load (I'm folding on it to give the card a good workout and ensure its functionality).

Noooo... not even close. That's why at $230, the 960's absolutely SUCK in value.

No, but SLI will get you close to the GTX980. So two of these for $310 is a pretty solid deal, if you don't fill the RAM, and the game supports SLI.

Wow! That certainly puts things in perspective; my r9 280 runs at high 70's now after I underclocked it a little. At stock speeds, it was running about 90 Celsius.

I'm not a fan of 960's at all. I guess it's an okay price, but I mean if you're planning on getting a refurb anyway, keep in mind that EVGA's B-Stock site still has 970's in stock for ~250:
http://www.evga.com/Products/ProductList.aspx?type=8&family=GeForce+900+Series+Family

It performs a little over 50% better than a 960, and will cost ~64% more. For the added VRAM and generally much better future prospects, I think it's well worth it. I broke it down with math before, but to me a 960 is rarely a really a winning card. If at all possible I suggest saving for a 970.

Awesome deal. GTX 960 is a solid and great card at that price.

Or people could buy a 960 here for cheap, save that extra money they would have spent and put it towards a higher end future card that hasn't been released yet. It really doesn't matter what people do, it all evens out in the end.
