Ironically, there's a big thread for the Wasabi Mango on the same forum you just linked: http://www.overclock.net/t/1554580/got-a-wasabi-mango-4k-42-korean-ips-monitor-what-tests-to-run

Fucking wow got one there amd!!
I'm currently eyeing the crossover 494k
The crossover 494k doesn't have freesync if that's a feature your interested in. The Wasabi Mango UHD550 also has the freesync feature now although that's a 55 monitor so it might be too big for you.
I also don't have amd though either

Looks like pcper bought one and tested it.
the vrr range is 42-60Hz, not bad considering it's pedigree and off brand status.
Name one reason, at least?I would get the crossover 434k over the WM420
I would get the crossover 434k over the WM420
Crossover is using the same panel like Philips BDM4065UC ?
Why Crossover 434k over WM420 ???
yes same panel but different board inside, crossover doesn't use pwm.
I owned Philips 4k monitor for about 3-4 weeks but didn't like thew colors at all.
If Crossover has the same colors, i would never buy something like this
Now i'm using a Samsung 4k TV, i like it but there is an issue with the BIOS
After the latest software update, i can't access my BIOS / quick boot / F12 / etc
And there is another issue, apparently some Crossover 434/494 users suffer from flickering on DP input.1) Philips is VA panel with PWM
2) Crossover 404K is VA panel (most likely same as Phillips) no PWM but extremely bright even at lowest setting
3) WM UHD420 is LG AH-IPS panel and was on the market for quite a while, starting with HDMI 1.0 version with external power brick and the most recent supporting HDMI 2.0, internal power and FW supporting FreeSync. No PWM
4) Crossover 434K and 494K, both using LG AH-IPS panels, just came out like less than a month ago, with 494 already screwed by not supporting HDCP 2. No PWM as well, same parts bin
WM has arguably slightly better build with aluminum bezel all around and being on the market with this particular panel longer could be a safer bet to buy. But I think at this point choosing between 434K and UHD420 is splitting a hair. I went for WM, no regrets so far.

From my experience and reading the net WM does not seem to be affected by this phenomena.
Afraid it's not GPU specific.Seems to be mainly an amd issue. No problems here
It skips frames at 120hz and 75hz at 1080p (tested)Tek Syndicate HW's Review here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPXdOpaNUtg
Looks good all around. I didn't actually know that these were capable of 120hz at 1080p.. Anyone know if this functionality extends to the 55 inch model? If so.. im hopping on one immediately.

NVidia users are affected too

what about the input lag on this display?
