According to a Gamespot news, this game should be release in 2016 for all platform.

When I know how great was the 3 other, I can't wait for this one. I hope it will have a good mp too.

Like the third one, it's not being made by Bugbear, so I'll reserve judgement. I didn't play it, but the third game did not look promising.
 
Yes it's not the same studios. The studio of the other Flatout are working on Wreckfest or made Wreckfest.
 
My obsession with Flatout 2 years ago probably even bordered on unhealthy.
