Nine Intel employees recently received Society of Women Engineer Awards. The annual awards program recognizes men and women who enhance the engineering profession through contributions to industry, education and the community. Congratulations to the following Intel award recipients: Hussein K. Mecklai (Rodney D. Chipp Memorial Award); Patty Lopez, Ph.D. (Advocating Women in Engineering Award); Joan Tafoya (Global Leadership Award); Lakecia Gunter and Rahima K. Mohammed, Ph.D. (Prism Awards); Barbara H. McAllister (Spark Award); Sumita Basu, Ph.D. and Shaila Murty, (Emerging Leader Award); and Lynda Grindstaff (Fellow Grade Award). Award recipients will be honored at a ceremony at WE15, the world’s largest conference for women engineers in October.
 
Sweet, it's always nice to be recognized for your achievements. When is the list from the Society of Men Engineers released?

I'm not aware that such a society exists, but feel free to create one.

Also note that the award is for both men and women.

If someone created such an organization and targeted the advancement of men, they would be accused to supporting an old-boys network.

But carry on and please pretend he didn't have a point.

Actually I have no objection to you creating a Society of Male Engineers. You can do a find and replace on their motto; I do not care.

But please continue imagining false outrage on my behalf.

More of the feminist/SJW agenda pushing hard. All part of the "diversity" aka (anti-white male) culture push. All part of the agenda to murder the tech sectors living wage, slam women in the industry, and use it to to back door those H1B visas.
