I'm so getting this day one, I'm a die hard Transformers G1 fan. To me G1 is the only true transformers, but I can tolerate the others. It would be bad ass if it has the movie soundtrack. Hell I'm ok with dare to be stupid especially if wreck-gar was playable.
I really, really, really liked Beast Wars. I think it's vastly superior to G1.
Beast Wars is the one I hated the most.
Really? The writing is SO GOOD. Especially in the second and third seasons.

You misspelled Beast Machines . I just caught a glimpse of that series one morning and checked out just as quickly when they mentioned "bringing nature" back to Cybertron .Beast Wars is the one I hated the most.
It was one those things I was so engrossed in transformers with G1. For me the idea of Transformers not being cars and planes pissed me off at the time. So ultimately I can never give beast wars a real chance.
Eh, the ones I hated were the crappy anime ones that came out after Beast Wars, but before the most recent show with Peter Cullen back as Optimus.
Beast Machines wasn't THAT bad once it came out of DVD. The show didn't work too well in the standard weekly format because not a lot happened within the 22 minute episode. However, the arc was kinda solid and it gave Beast Wars an ending. Still didn't care for how that villianized Rhinox.
The biggest problem with Beast Machines is coming off of that great cliff hanger ending for Beast Wars is just never felt right. The first I don't know half of season 1 I watched was terrible and I couldn't keep watching it. I was also 15 when Beast Machines started airing so I was already well into a point where I stopped caring about most American cartoons and got super heavy into anime. Even by the last season of Beast Wars my interest in that stuff was waning, I think I missed like half of the last season of Beast Wars as it was airing.
The last season of Beast Wars was only 13 episodes. HAHA. However, that showed aired in an awkward manner. Most shows did and keeping up with them was tricky.
Beast Machines definitely wasn't that great. Though, I still think it was greatly improved upon DVD release. Being able to binge watch it helped its arc show.
I've been an animation fan most of my life. Never put one countries output over anothers. Mainframe was doing really good work during that time period. Timm/Dini were still pumping out DCAU material. It was a good time period for American Shows. I still think WB dropped the ball with Invasion America. The show was solid.
As far as the lore is concerned it took place prior to G1, but I get your point. I had a great time with WFC and its multiplayer. I never got around to playing FOC, though. It's too bad there is going to be no multiplayer in Devastation.Transformers: War for Cybertron & Fall of Cybertron were both based mostly on G1 Transformers and were pretty fun games.
