I've owned my ps3 since about 2006 and have mostly used it as a blu-ray player (other than about 30 hours for Demon's Souls). Currently it acts as a Netflix and Amazon streamer for my kids' cartoons.
A few months ago I bought Bloodborne and purchased a subscription of ps plus with it. I was delighted to find that it allowed me to download monthly games on the ps3 as well as the ps4. This month, however, I am having problems downloading GoW Ascencion. The file is stated as 35 GB. When I check system information, I have 60 GB / 74 GB free. This is after deleting pretty much everything I can. I've read that you need double the game space, in my instance, 70GB, to be able to download and install a game.
Problem is, I can't find anything else to delete! So my question for you guys here is: Am I able to get within a few GB of the total 74GB space? And if so, what else can I look for? I've already deleted all games and their respective utility files. All videos and pictures are erased as well. Is it possible that the ps3 HD uses 14 GB of space?
