Are things so boring in Santa Fe, New Mexico that residents would actually go to the opera to watch a play about Steve Jobs?

The complicated personal and professional lives of the late Apple co-founder will be the subject of Bates' new opera, “The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs,” which will have its world premiere in 2017 at Santa Fe Opera in New Mexico, the company announced Wednesday.

To Bohemian Rhapsody:
"She's your daughter, she's you daughter, she's daughter...it is so"
Jobs: "It is not so, I won't give you money now go"

Yeah, I can see how this Opera could go.

Honestly I am getting a bit annoyed with all of the hoopla surrounding Steve Jobs....2, 3 movies, and seriously an Opera now???

WTF......

LoL...

I could see this being required for you to be hired at Apple :D

But for the general public, really?

An opera about Steve Ballmer would be more interesting. At least there'd be basketball and chairs being thrown at the audience.

Register as a religion already people and build some Temples and take it there.

Who gives a shit about Steve Jobs. Everybody is treating him like the second coming of Jesus.

People metaphorically fellatio this guy just for stealing the designs of Braun, Bang & Olufsen, Dieter Ram, and probably more industrial designers. Afterwards, they share the spunk. Not sure how stealing a industrial design style with the leadership of good technical behind you is a mean feat? I mean, it's like making a movie about a car dealership instead of Henry Ford.

How about a story in any medium about Wozniak, the people at Xerox's Palo Alto Research Center, or the legacy of IBM and T. J. Watson?

A historically accurate movie about Charles Babbage or Alan Turing would be interesting, too.

An opera? Please. And the metaphorical fellatio and hero worship continues!
