Anyone else wish someone would come out with this? I refuse to game on a matte screen again or anything other than IPS. I also think 27" is nice but not nearly necessary enough to pay $800+ for. I could do it but it just seems excessive. I'm not a hardcore gamer and I even prefer 24" a lot of times.

Oh, the usual woes.

A lot of people waiting for decent gaming 24' models for years. Welcome to the club!

I see new egg has 25" monitors but slightly worried they would be too big... they are 1440P
would love to see either Gsync or a 144hz version of it. 24" 1440P would be great

I have a 27" but I game like 4 feet away from it with my console way too big for desktop use.

I don't understand why people think 27" or anything over 24" is too big... seriously just get a 27" and get used to it, I found 32" slightly too big for a PC monitor, although still it was fine, 27" 1440p is ideal because of the PPI at 1440p. Once you have a 27" for a few months... you will think 24" is too small.

You people and your mirror monitors...

you have unlimited amount of matte screens to select from we have zero so STFU not everyone suffers from ADD or has insecurities issues with their own reflections.

Id rather deal with reflection i can control not forced to have ugly matte that reflects any kind of light source on the matte film that kills colors and all around IQ.

We have phones/ablets/laptops and TV with glass/gloss no one bats an eye but god for bid you release glossy gaming monitor.

There are zero glossy gsync monitors so 27 isn't even an option.

I use 27" at work but still 22" 1680x1050 at home, NOT TRUE. :p Waiting for 24" 1080p IPS 144Hz GSync, preferably matte (semi rather than the most grainy types) though since otherwise some light will be reflected on my screen most of the time. Gimme that at a pricetag of $499 and I will be all over it. ^^

(Should be noted I have a very small (narrow) table with just room for a monitor and keyboard almost lying at the edge when in front of the monitor and sit with maybe just below 1 meter or so from the monitor.) At work I have much more space between the monitor and me but I kinda prefer sitting fairly close to the monitors, it gives me better immersion while gaming especially, remember with the CRT times when my face was almost glued to the screen (doesn't sound healthy when I think about with all that radiation n stuff that I thought I must be feeling sometimes lol...)
