Grand Theft Auto V

Brawler looks cool, but performance is average to below average with bad handling and brakes, even at slow speeds. The T20 on the other hand has great handling and acceleration (better then Osiris) making it great on the track and with the discount (or discounts if you never used your original LM coupon) is a real bargain.

EDIT: Performance maybe very disappointing, but it doesn't mean its not fun to take out for a spin. FYI, my Armored Karuma is better off-road then the Brawler.

It seems my PC is glitched with GTA V. I can't load into Online directly, it keeps saying I have to complete the prologue even though I beat the entire game and just did another save after completing the prologue. This shit also causes it to show the terms of agreement every single time and ask about character transfer.

I think you have to go through the character creation process and finish the first race to complete the online setup.

No, it's not the online tutorial that is the issue. I recently played with my character on another PC and after playing the prologue it worked. Something must have gotten corrupted/messed up during a random crash. I guess I could redownload the game.
 
If anyone here owns a Dubsta2 (not a 6x6) on the PC side and cares to help me spawn one, my Benefactor collection is short one.

Thought it was a driver issue. I have been through a ton of drivers trying to get the stuttering to stop. Never really had any problems up until this latest patch. I noticed the more people on the server the worse it gets.

Its not a driver issue, or an issue with anyones hardware in general. It was introduced with the new Anti-Cheat system Rockstar added 3 days after Ill Gotten Gains Part 1, a small 16MB update to Social Club. Ever since the game is randomly stuttering really bad in certain locations, unrelated to GPU/CPU usage and game settings and it goes away when you force exit Social Club or pull the network cable.
 
So I am done with SP and had a blast...my one regret was not jacking the fighter plane at the AFB...So...

SPOILER ALERT STOP READING NOW!!!!!!!!

I heard the security at the AFB was, err, somewhat reduced if you pop in while on a certain hunting mission with Cletus...so I did...and true to rumor I was able to waltz right in, found a fighter taxiing, cut him off, and jacked it. No security response.

Question is...am I a cheater, or did I just use good intel?

On a grander stage, are people that find and exploit 'glitches' cheaters?

If I was a real crazed fighter plane thief I would certainly attempt said larceny when chances of getting caught are lowest. This would make me a good deranged fighter plane thief, not a cheater.

Opinions?
 
My brother and I are looking for 2 people to do heists with. We'd like to get the bonus for doing them all with the same people.

Me? I stormed the place with Trevor and after a long and bloody shootout managed to get away with a jet.

Each way has its perks I guess. :D

I found the easiest way to get one was to fly a helicopter over it and parachute in. Tanks don't seem to spawn and the AI gets confused and doesn't know what to do. You can fly low and avoid the missiles as well. Or just cheat since it doesnt really matter in single player.

No fun to cheat to get it.

Was a long, drawn out battle and just the sort of thing I could see Trevor doing anyway. :D
 
After latest update lost all my cars in the 10-car garage except for 2 (moved to another garage inexplicably).
Also seeing a lot more flickering textures now.

Anyone else run into anything similar?
 
I'm getting crazy fps drops while playing (Reddit has all of the buzz on that)
Like when I goto buy armor I drop down to 10fps.
Hopefully a hot fix comes out soon.
 
Supposedly there are huge performance improvements with the latest betas, but I'll hold off, its not to bad for me.
 
Wow! I just started playing this. And the graphics are amazing. They did a wonderful job of recreating south-central L.A. It looks so real. The old cracked cement sidewalks, to the freeways with the grooves. Amazing detail.

And of course the people in the "hood". The homeless, the gang members hangin out. Holy shit thank god I don't live their.

And about 30min away is the glamour of Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Malibu.

I've been there, so I know what it looks/feels like, and they nailed it.

It runs buttery smooth with my new 390x. All graphics settings maxed out on the 32" 1440p monitor. Just looks stunning.
 
I go their on an almost biweekly basis and the game still blows me away. I still miss Las Venturas and San Fierro in game and wonder how amazing Vice City would look with today's graphics.
 
I saw that, its part of importing the classic maps into the new engine, but I wanna see new versions. The new Los Santos is so much better then the original in San Andreas which I did not like in the slightest, I always hung around San Fierro.
 
Yeah, been getting massive amounts of stuttering, and some weird freezing, that I can fix only by alt tabbing..

Yeah jesus came at me too last night when I was hiding on a rooftop watching a modder spawning meteorites all over the city. He had some company with him, a goat, a cow and then a clone of myself with a minigun who killed me. That was fun at least, better than those modders who explode the whole session.

Yep, thats exactly how the game is right now, an unplayable mess. 5930K and Titan X here and the stuttering is so bad sometimes. Rockstar made a post on their support page saying they are working on it. I filed support tickets when this happened first with Ill Gotten Gains Part 1 but only got copy pasted standard responses to update my drivers and now with the 2nd part of the DLC its much worse.

Seems like patch 1.28 got infected by the Watch_Dogs virus with this fucking stutter. I was pegged at 60 all the time now im stuttering like a bitch.:mad:
 
On my 30" Dell, playing at 2560x1600 with everything at max(MSAA 2x) even advanced settings, I had smooth gameplay with my 2 original Titans. I would average 45-50 FPS though.

Playing the game with my 2 new 980 Ti's , with everything maxed even MSAA and advance settings maxed, I get horrible lag and stutter when driving. If I go into the menu thouse mouse cursur is so slow. Afterburner OSD only shows VRAM at about 4.7 gb

What's the deal? Is it the anti mod/hack patch Rockstar released?
 
Looks like it from the reports I have seen.
I am not playing the game until I see that it is performing well again.
I just bought a 980ti for a better experience, thanks Rockstar for making it pointless.

newest update they added some junk code for all hackers and modders and everyone gets worse performance more or less.. how stupid is not that :(
