Why don't exist monitors with VA panel with 1440p resolution or 4k, not even 1200p ?
Such IPS monitors are plenty on the market, but not VA.
I found only one monitor with 1440p resolution and VA panel, BenQ BL3200PT but it has 32" and 0.276 mm pixel size, same as a monitor 24" FullHD.
It seems like Samsung has something similar, but I am interested for a monitor 27" 1440p VA panel or 27"- 28" with 4k rezolution, unfortunately did not exist on the market, WHY ?
I want a monitor with superior contrast, a deep black level and no more IPS glow.

If you can live with a compromise and a steep pricepoint, there are curved 34" 21:9 3440x1440 VA monitors out there, like the Samsung S34E790C. About the same PPI as 1440p 27"

Because MVA can be called on to the job but in the end it is kind of iffy.
Can you explain what do you mean to say "iffy" ?

I think it's about a technological limitation, otherwise I can not explain why there may be no such monitors.
For 3 years of waiting and watching the market after such a monitor and nothing comes up, it is a very strange thing, don't you ?

Interestingly monitor, didn't know about it.
So it seems that there is no technological limitation and such monitors can be fabricated.
But I would like one without curved, and 16:9 format, i don't like 21:9.

It isn't strange to me. I've used a PVA monitor for years. Viewing it from under a metre produces a stereoscopic effect on mid tones. LGD simply won and consequently Samsung Display and AUO followed suit.

For the same reason that there are no name-brand glossy monitors outside of HP's custom coating solution: Incompetent market research; or perhaps only a very vocal minority is interested in the product and the manufacturer would not be able to substantiate the cost.

Regardless, IPS displays are simply more tempting to most consumers - color consistency vs deeper blacks.

marketing, marketing, marketing
cost down, cost down, cost down.

oh, and it was apple.

Consumer, there you go.

Consumer don't know beep about color consistency vs deeper blacks.

if there ever will be (there never will be :( ) a 2560x1440 version of the Eizo FG2421 without all the QC issues it will be mine and i can retire my fw900

i would buy a VA version of the XB270HU in a heartbeat...

Same here ... I love the contrast of VA vs all the IPS glow etc of the XB270HU

Unfortunatly I cant find any high refresh rate VA monitors except the new 35" 2560x1080 144hz .
The panel is used in the BenQ XR3501 & the still to be launched Acer Z35 that I prefer because it adds Gsync.
I might buy this and live with the lower rez altough it might bother me in non-gaming. (same hight as a 16/9 26")
This would be a general use monitor. Have any of you used a 26" or bigger 1080p monitor? How was it non-gaming?

This lower rez has the advantage that my gtx980 can generate more fps in games so I might be a perfect gaming panel for poeple that don't have super expensive GPU's...
