Bombshell E3 2015 Gameplay Trailer

So tired of seeing 1080p 60FPS used as a marketing ploy. We, as PC gamers, have had this for years. :rolleyes:

They got bought by a Danish dev company named Interceptor.

The real kicker is that apparently 3D Realms wants the Duke Nukem IP stuff back ;):D
 
Sci-fi shooter Diablo, eh? HMMMM. There is the potential for something good here, let's see what happens.

More like Dumbshell. it doesn't look interesting at all. This looks like a game made 10 years ago. Combat looks bland, isometric view doesn't look like it works with the combat well. Uninspired and boring.

It's a bombshell with the bomb. A complete dud.
 
So its 3rd person Duke Nukem with a female avatar? Hopefully she still likes chicks despite the gender swap. If you're gunna do it, do it all the way I say.

funny most the games i enjoy today where made 10 years ago. back when they made before all the console 1hours play time whiners joined the gaming masses and everything had to be babied down. so its "fair for everyone"

I still love playing quake because it gives alot to the people that learn to master the skills and techniques of the games. Instead of provide autoaim. autogenerate blah blah blah
 
Looked fine to me. I would play it as long as the mechanics are on point and it has difficulty settings. These types of games I like to play on the hardest difficulty and sometimes I like to run around on easy mode and execute / gut things for fun.
 
It's 3D Realms. I predict the release will be continually delayed because it's never "good enough" until we're all convinced it's vaporware.
 
What a sexist game, a woman killing men and manly alien hordes, we men need to come together and make sure this senseless debauchery is cast where the sun don't shine!
 
I may check it out. Looked ok to me.

Then again I play games like Diablo 1-3, PoE, GD, ETC.
 
Still waiting for a full-3D Smash TV/Total Carnage, which this game looks like it may be trying to be..or something similar to.

Don't talk to me about babied down. Owned an asteroids deluxe machine for a few years. Beat solar jetman without cheating, been meaning to do it again.

Looks like an isometric Contra with fatalities. Which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.

But "Die alien scum"? Damn. Duke's one-liners were all stolen but at least they were clever.
 
I'm cautiously optimistic, but it definitely looks like something else to look forward to in 2030!
 
Gameplay they showed didn't look terribly interesting, but I do love these dual-stick type of games going back to Robotron and Smash TV.

Maybe it was just the embedded video and the fact that it was short clips of gameplay segments, but ...
The graphic fidelity was way below par.
There was some sort of grease filter on the camera almost all the time that made things look worse.
 
Looking forward to checking it out when they change it's name to "Free with Gold".....
