Looking for a PCI Sound Card.Something that will work with Windows 7.Nothing too pricey, just something that will sound better than the onboard sound I'm using right now.An old Creative Audigy would be good.

got a turtle beach santa cruz card somewhere I believe. not too sure on the window s7 drive though, may need to google it to see if there is one.

I have a couple audigy's actually. I would have to check on the models but I know they are the older ones. One has the front audio interface and the other does not if I am not mistaken. I will check for you to see about model and price.

If you're interested, I have a Chaintech AV-710...$10 shipped.

Keep an eye out for the Auzentech Prelude, a great sounding card.
I still use mine for its better quality microphone input. The card has been running 24/7 for 7.5 years now, very reliable.
(I use a high end external DAC for audio, thats why the Prelude is not used for more)

The downside is that Auzentech have disappeared so no driver updates for future OS versions.
The last driver works great on Windows 7 and gives you all the same game and productivity features as Creatives X-Fi cards while sounding better.

If you find one for cheap, snap it up.
