AMD R9 Fury X benchmarks leaked, Significantly Faster than the GTX 980Ti at 4K

I agree, I hope AMDs graphics dept survives this.
They make too many wrong decisions, why?

I only get off on shoving the fanboys crap back at them.
They do AMDs reputation no favours.

The Fury X's failure is bad for competition. We all lose out. Only bright side are the AMD fanboys who finally got a shot of their own medicine...again.

As unrealistic as this may be, I would love to see ATI being a standalone company again.

AMD have issues whatever it is, and I don't want to see them dragging down this graphic division they now owns. If they are going to crash and burn, please leave ATI out of it.

I haven't logged in here for a long long time...but I view this website as one of the best around....Kyle has earned my trust long time ago...Great website....

Just something I have noticed about every website reviewing this card so far and I have checked out around 16 or so.....not ONE website has used an AMD-based PC TEST setup for doing any of thier gaming benchmark tests...this card IMO is a very very important to AMD in taking on Nvidia. so what is the big problem of testing it using an AMD-based PC?...just makes ya wonder.....hmmm

uhh because intel > amd for gaming. Even the quantum which is an AMD made machine uses intel.

Well because, you know, a proof of concept to pitch to partners with a different future CPU planned for it is a big deal...

AMD sent out a "reviewers guide" with benchmarks. Even they used an Intel processor.

Well...for comparison sake...I'd love to see if there is ANY substantial difference in the results...

Real disappointing that's for sure. The Nano might help them but we've yet to see. the 290x release was far better in terms of price and performance. This release seems to address many other issues with pervious cards like heat and noise (for the reference cards) but fails in other departments. We need to see AMD put out a big home run or else we are going to get a Nvidia market that doesn't seem appealing.
