AMD Fury X In Stock thread

Amazon has ASUS, Sapphire, Gigabyte, XFX, and Visiontek up for pre-order. Went with a Sapphire, we will see if/when it ships. Couldn't resist MSRP + free two day shipping.

I can't find any other models listed so it seems to be a placeholder still, for the Canadian website only.

Ground (2 to 6 days) -- Estimated Delivery Wed, Jul 29, 2015 [$8.04]
Second Day (2 days) -- Estimated Delivery Mon, Jul 27, 2015 [$10.94]
Next Day -- Estimated Delivery Fri, Jul 24, 2015 [$19.81] Details

Looks to be for the regular Fury when you check out with these shipping dates, or that BS tigerdirect does sometimes where they offer a low price and make you wait for the cost drop everyone else has at the time it finally ships. I was ready to order as well.

I think I do not want the Liquid cooled one. Now to wait until the Air cooled is available.

List price says $650.

You're right, wonder why the delivery date is ridiculous.
I looked at it on my way to work and it said "In Stock", guess I was just too late with my order.

Or they're pulling shenanigans at TD again.

TD shenanigans are real. I tried ordering another video card from there a month ago before the Witcher3/Batman game deal ended, and they charged my PayPal, and order just stayed stuck in "Processing" for two weeks before I finally had enough and cancelled and ordered elsewhere. Called them and they claimed "out of stock" even though website showed in stock. Then they tried to claim they were "renovating the warehouse". I sent an email just for kicks and they had yet a different story - "Oh yes it's in stock don't worry" . I really don't know what's going on at that place but seems to be staffed by monkeys.

Had the exact same runaround with a hard disk about 6 months ago back when I swore never again. But a coupon code came up so took the chance. Wasted time yet again.

That TD link no longer shows the $550 price...

Perhaps there was a limited number of discounts, or they are going to cancel those orders...

mine shows pending, and my cc has a hold, so far so good....

Yep, that's what my last GPU order showed on TD.. For 2 weeks. Then I cancelled.

Hope you get it though. 549 is a much more rational price for this card.

Thanks,
I had to call to verify my order, now it shows "Reg Order Process - Credit Card Verification Done. Your order is in process at our warehouse."

I had to do the the same thing, It then also showed "Reg Order Process - Credit Card Verification Done. Your order is in process at our warehouse."... Shortly thereafter, it went to "All Backordered - These items are currently on backorder, and will ship as soon as we receive stock on them."

checked mine again, same. plus the price on my order reflects the 679.99 price vs 549.99

Word of warning about TigerDirect. Their CS is pretty awful, and their employees have at times even been pretty rude and clueless. I buy a lot of computer gear from them as they don't charge California Stats Tax, but I make sure that I avoid buying anything from them that might require dealing with their support. Good luck guys :)

Cancelled my order with TD after the same verification crap/backorder/price error. Time to start shopping for a 980ti, I guess.

You're buying the warranty. 2 years $649, 3 years $679, Lifetime $699

I know thats why I waited until the XFX came instock. In fact its in packaging at the moment. And I paid for next day shipping, so hopefully I get it tomorrow. :D

Yes they did this last year with the 295 X2.
They had it listed as "lifetime", it was 2 years.
XFX rep had to clarify.

Don't believe their lies, again, I am warning you now. Lifetime warranty only covers DD for new cards.

I see. Checking their site actually I do not see it listed either: http://xfxforce.com/en-us/support/xfx-warranty

Newegg charging a premium on a product that actually isn't carrying the lifetime warranty is pretty bad imo.

Correct, lifetime warranty doesn't apply.... I love how they did that with the 295's heh...
