AMD Fury series coming soon.

Don't forget about us 3840x800@120Hz guys either. I think there are at least 2 or 3 of us total ...

What's this?

The glowing red logo will surely gain AMD some marketshare from all the people who don't want bright green Nvidia logos in their black/red builds.

maybe the weight of the card, its supposed to be a very heavy card. And the screw is missing too.

Really...No HDMI 2.0 to run 60 FPS 4k @ 4:2:0(bleh) poorly designed Old tech TVs with no DP = Fail

Runs 5k@max refresh = fail

They really cannot win

Samsung is putting out 4:4:4 60hz 4k over HDMI 2.0 on brand new sets. I really don't want to change out a 2000 receiver because AMD is too short sighted and cheap to get the 2.0 license.

5k 30hz on last year's game impresses no one

980ti and Fury X start at the same price point and it seams Fury X will be (at least at first) more expensive
And some of us game at 1440p and some use 1080 at 120hz

Before you continue using half arsed arguments remember Nvidia has most of the gpu market share if AMD wants to pull out of the value market it needs to deliver a clear flagship card and not just a 980 ti alternative without gameworks, hdmi 2.0 and less vram

Honestly 1080p at 120hz was something I had not considered.

I disagree with your half assed argument comment. Price/performance is important and when comparing msrp fury looks good. Now what the market prices will be between the two remains to be seen as well as actual fury perfornance from third party sources.

Anyway, I'm not here to debate gpu marketshare, just to say I don't see the sky falling or fury being a disaster/failure for AMD as some are painting it out to be.

I have been lurking skimming over this thread...

Is any one else looking at the Nano as perhaps the most attractive card in this launch?

It's really got me thinking about a tiny but really powerful system....

I really wish they released more versions of this thing, they have to have some more chips that didn't make the grade as Fury X's to sell. If they release the Nano, at around the same price as the 390x and it's as fast..... why would you buy a 390x? That's of course running under the assumption all the marketing and stuff is accurate.

Sooooooo, any mention of DX12 support?
Are we looking at 12_1 + RBT tier 3?

Or is this just Tonga 2.0. Is GCN 1.2 even confirmed? So many questions.

I hope this card fully supports DX12 across the board, that would be a good way to wreck the 980 Ti.

why is this positive? i dont get it, at best fury x is about as fast as an oced 980 ti at the same price;

At what point did you people gave up Fury X will be a Titan X killer ? might be me, but with hbm and 4000 shaders i was expecting it will run over 980 ti /Titan X

Actually it's $100 less than a 980 ti with hybrid cooling while the Fury is fully water cooled.

in short : not relevant for most users
I would think far more relevant than no HDMI 2.0, which has lots of people with their panties in a knot.

That refresh rate would be an eye sore.

Isn't that the refresh rate everyone wants their 144Hz VRR monitors to be able to run at?

There isn't much height difference between the HBM stack and the GPU die.
So I'm going to guess, yes it does.

Hard mods FTMFW!

That could certainly make for some interesting results when overclocking the memory. Not that the insane bandwidth is not already huge.

It will be interesting if they can unlock the clocks and voltage for the HBM.
There was talk about a 625mhz bin of HBM1 awhile ago. Never saw anything about it in their catalog though.

thought someone said Fury X is voltage locked

radeon's could never be voltage adjusted through catalyst control center, we had to rely on trixx/msi AB/etc and none of those programs have been updated to work w/ the Fury X

hence the no voltage adjustments

someone in australia said it costs 95% of what a 980ti costs there, so more/less the same price

I am from Australia, where the fuck do people get their information from. It feels like I have been left out....I want one now!

Also our GTX 980 Ti and Titan Xs are ~23% more than what you guys pay. $1599 AUD = ~$1250 USD for Titan X

Ah... I never got people posting pics of cards. I never have pics... Too busy installing/using it.
