The [H]ardOCP Mini-Giveaway Sponsored by ASUS

Because it's not how big something is, but how you use it.

Plus when I buy something like that it's easy for me to hide and still enjoy it without the wife finding it.

Smaller is better because that normally means less energy usage.

I miss the old Shuttle Lan Box phase of building. Those things were cramped as hell, but fun as can be. Slap a handle on it, insta-pc anywhere ya go cause of the size

Small is good, this would be a good start on a pretty nice HTPC.

Because it's not how big something is, but how you use it.

Plus when I buy something like that it's easy for me to hide and still enjoy it without the wife finding it.

This, out of context, sounds quite different.

Because women really want a guy who can make them laugh, and when you whip this out and she sees how small it is, she'll laugh hysterically.

Small = portable = lower power draw = less heat = less noise = better! :p
Well, something like that.

Smaller is better because I would have more room to organize in my office, and the office would feel more open, as well.

Smaller is ultimately better because of power efficiency. This helps to reduce power consumption while still being able to do the jobs required by the user.
Other side effects are:
Lower Heat
Lower electric bill
Reduced impact on the environment.
Makes my junk look bigger when I put the case in the background

Smaller is better! Just ask my wife ;-)

Seriously, we have been down the monster tower case route here at the homestead with our gaming builds. Now my youngest son wants his first build to be a small powerful rig. With todays GPU's I think this now doable in that "HD" resolution window, 1920 x 1080.

Because there are times you want people to say "Damn, Look at that!"

however at other times, you'd rather them to say "Damn, where is that!"

Smaller is all that's needed with your SSD for OS/Gaming and your RAID5 file server for everything else!

Because you don't need to waste space on your desk/entertainment stand just to have a decent rig, so why do that?

It creates less waste in the future when the product ends its life and is trashed/recycled!

Asus going green!

You know the old saying- it's not the size that matters, it's how you push the 1's and 0's.

Would be awesome for a 4k htpc build. I've been looking to do something like this for my 4k tv.

Thanks for the giveaway, and good luck all!

Smaller means I can do more interesting projects (like cramming a full-fledged gaming machine into the case of an old XBox).

more room so my partner can stop complaining about hitting his knee on my big desktop tower when he gets up from the desk.

A smaller footprint increases your available desk space and as a result improves your mood as you don't have to struggle to fit additional peripherals.

Smaller is better so I can fit a small gaming computer next to mine for my kids to game with their Dad. That would be a great Fathers Day present :)
