Buy a MBP in 2 Months or Wait?

I know the 15" MBP just got a new updated i7 processor and new force touch track pad jam. I was looking to pull the trigger on a new 15" MBP purchase in Aug / Sept but wondering based on the small / minor updates that have hit the MBP 15", should I wait a few months from Sept 15' for a major update or buying a MBP now is a good future proof investment?

Buy the computer when you need it. With Skylake right around the corner, nobody could say how soon they will be updated from the current spec.

The laptops next refresh is at least 6 months out. The MBP line generally gets its big refresh (just happened) and than a smaller refresh 6-9 months later.

It won't be updated in two months so you don't have to worry about that. There will probably be a tiny .1 bump on the processor and possibly a $100 dollar price drop when school starts. Best you can hope for is a refurb hitting the Apple store in two months if saving money is your goal.
