Sold Out Everywhere!

When is Galaxy going to put up a pre-order page for the hall of fame 980 ti?

Thats the only card stoping me from getting an evga 980ti, and not being able to place a preorder is making me antsy. Im so tempted to just get the evga

Only once we've got an exact ship date on stock, and as of this moment I only have a sophisticated wild ass guess of when that will be.

Maybe I am blind but it does Batman come the card if ordered directly?

Shit nevermind they force you pay $3.25 on top of shipping to get a signature since its over 500 bucks. I will likely be at work when UPS comes by and dont feel like playing games to get my package.

Good question, I don't know. I'm going to have to ask them come Monday morning.

As for the signature, I just leave my UPS dude a post it and he takes it. He's cool.

Edit: Got linked this, I'd assume yes to Batman: http://www.evga.com/articles/00938/Batman-Arkham-Knight/

Yeah not sure if that would work here or not as it seems like its a different UPS driver here every month.

Anyway I just bought it on Amazon so no worries.

I can understand that. You still got one so all good then.

Amazon is tax for me unfortunately.

Congrats!

That is the card I got as well from same place, have had it for 2 days and you will love it

I've cancelled my order at Newegg and placed one at NCIX (same price but the card will get here faster). And they still have some in stock.

You can create a free account on ups and add a tracking number to it, will allow you to sign for packages online anytime.

What is so frustrating is that my computer can't run shit which is why I decided to build a new one. I have all the parts except for the graphics card. The rest of you still have something to fall back on in the mean time but I don't and this game that Nvidia and the retailers are playing is really pissing me off. I could be playing The Witcher 3 or War For The Overworld right now but instead, I am sitting around with a pile of new parts and nothing to do and all because these assholes underestimated the popularity of the GTX 980 Ti and failed to supply the demand.

eVGA still has the ACX 2.0+ SC+ labeled as in stock, Newegg has an eVGA reference model, and the nVidia store still has stock.

It seems like it's pretty easy to find one. Newegg has the EVGA in stock at the time of writing this and Nvidia seems to also have them in stock. ;)

Just picked up two from nVidia. Thankyou nowinstock.com =) now to offload these 980's....

I have been checking Newegg all day and they still don't have any. I have also been checking Nvidia also and they do have them right now but I am not willing to pay $15 in shipping, may as well have paid $900 for it on Amazon. I normally don't pay shipping and I never pay tax, I guess I'll just have to wait for one of the non douche retailers to have it.

Now you are just making silly excuses. The cards have been in and out of stock on EVGA store, Newegg, and Nvidia store. If you really wanted one then you could already have one and would certainly not be bitching about paying 5 bucks more for shipping at Nvidia store over Newegg.

I have never owned a high end graphics card or gaming PC before so this is new for me so I don't have any other graphics cards to use.

Well, "common-sense dictates" sit on a few websites for 6-8 hours and keep hitting refresh. Surely you'll hit one eventually.

(Had to do the same thing back in the 5850 shortage of '09)

So you're willing to pay $650+ for a GPU but not $15 to get it shipped? I can see not wanting to pay taxes on it but shipping come on now lol.

He could have bought one so many times today. Hell in the few times I have checked today there were always some available including just a few minutes ago.

All I want is the stock reference modal for $650 with NO shipping fees whatsoever and no tax.

Amazon does a lot of shipping, so thats bs. These companies have contracts with the shipping companies, getting free shipping isnt starving anybody.

Just dont complain about the shipping speed if its free.

Idk about other countries, but i believe some parts in the us dont pay tax so they get free shipping and no tax.

Personally i can understand saving every penny for something, and then the tax/shipping getting you but for the 980 ti its soo worth it.

That white Hall of Fame card is going to looks great with my white case with black trimmings and white leds. And 1440p games are going to be maxed.

"This popular new restaurant just opened up and there was a line and they wouldn't seat me right away, those assholes."

I couldn't possibly find a violin small enough for you.

Fine, I will. I won't pay for shipping, I don't believe in it. For $650, they should cover shipping, those cheap greedy...

I bought two Thursday.

The NVidia site has plenty, but they don't fit your criteria. They charge tax and shipping.

I bought a Gigabyte 980 Ti on Newegg around 1830 eastern, I just checked for the hell of it and bam.
I am a premiere member on Newegg, so if I wanted to wait a week, shipping would be "free". Best part of newegg is no tax.

Yesterday I checked in on both sites periodically and there were EVGA and PNY available all day on newegg. Nvidia had plenty.

There is a reference EVGA for sale RIGHT NOW on newegg!!! They are also in stock at NVidia.

Amazon's "free" shipping is generally tied to the Amazon Prime membership, which isn't free.
Granted my 75 dollars buys me a lot of stuff beside shipping, but Amazon's freebies are offset by their memberships.

Simply aint no free lunch.

And still....no 4991s released anywhere yet. Is eVGA keeping them all to handle step-ups?

Man if you're building a machine with at least one $650 graphics card and you're making a stink over $15, the problem might just be you.

Are you planning to watercool? Based on your rigs and the first two cards I would've guessed it. My case won't fit gigantic cards like the WindForce, but I always recommend it as the best air cooler.

And still....no 4991s released anywhere yet. Is eVGA keeping them all to handle step-ups?

This is what I thought when I first saw it to be honest, considering it's the only one available on step-up. It's really between the 4991 and the 4995. Buying the 4993 and not paying $10 more for a backplate is a little silly unless there's no other option.

No thats different, prime shipping is faster. They free shipping on items over $35 but it takes likd 5 business days

With Prime, next day shipping is $4. Can't beat it.

Newegg's lack of sales tax + $10 shipping certainly beats it.

Amazon has ruined their viability for high cost orders due to their insistence on building fulfillment centers everywhere and thus subjecting the majority of their customers to sales tax.

An extra 5-10% cost added to a $500+ order is downright painful. I'd never buy a television from Amazon anymore, for example, as I'd be looking at paying hundreds of dollars more.

^^^ I don't have tax with Amazon so quit making blanket statements.
