I'm actually half-tempted to toss the preview back on as a clean install if that can update to the final down the line. Not sure how that would work with licensing, though.

This, Fall of last year I converted my Acer notebook running Windows 7 Professional to Kubuntu 14.04 and have been exceptionally happy with it. My tablet is an android so no problem there.. just got a Samsung Galaxy S5 as well so happy there.. the only thing I have to worry about is my old gaming rig. I'll probably just keep it running Windows 7 Home till its no longer supported then sell off the parts to buy a PS4 and games.. or Just retire from gaming all together and use it as a file server running linux.
Getting the popcorn ready while I watch.
At least it doesn't look or feel sloppy like Windows 8/8.1 for non-touch devices. Too buggy in its current state for Day 1 use. Been that bleeding edge person for over a decade now and I'm done with it. Should probably be a September 2016 release if you ask me.
