Corsair®, a world leader in high-performance PC hardware, today announced the Obsidian Series® 750D Airflow Edition full-tower PC case. Based on the award-winning Obsidian Series 750D, the new Airflow Edition adds a perforated front grill, increasing airflow into the case for systems that require more cooling. Like all Obsidian Series cases, the 750D features an elegant black monolithic design, brushed aluminum and solid steel construction, and generous expansion flexibility.

The Obsidian Series 750D’s rigid exterior surrounds a frame that has ample room for high-performance components, as well as sophisticated cooling for users who want to push their components to the limits. The increased ventilation offered by the new Obsidian 750D Airflow Edition opens up even more cooling options and performance, with three AF140L fans included to ensure great cooling right out of the box. The case is designed to make building a PC fast and simple with features such as tool-free side panels and drive bays, cable routing grommets and mount points, and motherboard rear CPU access and alignment pegs.
 
If you already have a 750D, they released a replacement front panel with the perforated grill. Got mine in April.

I do like the casual and sometimes slightly silly feel of the Corsair vids like this one. They aren't overproduced, and they aren't trying too hard to be funny, hip, or edgy.

Very interested in this because I had the front door on mine.
 
I'm currently using the 750D, and what I did was I replaced the rear exhaust fan with a 120mm one that runs at lower RPM to ensure a more balanced airflow. Otherwise I found the case to be creating negative airflow pressure unless I open the front panel.

I prefer the original front panel aesthetics though, so I'm not replacing mine

Aesthetics of the new panel still look great to me but I prefer function over form. The stealth mod for the optical drive is a must to keep things clean. Worked great for me.

Also, as you noted, the front fans they provide for the case are not designed for static pressure so not only are they almost completely choked off by the closed panel and tight filter mesh, they're not even designed for the space they're squished into. The perforated panel helps immensely.

$15 well spent, especially when I got the case for $100 anyway with 3 more Cougar fans from TD.
