Star Citizen - media blowout, Chris Robert's new game

yeah you can store the upgrade, and when arena commander 2.0 comes out the connie will have a CCU

How's the cutlass doing now? I know when it first came it there were a lot of complaints about things like its top speed. I still love the idea of a cutlass but want to know if its worth picking up for AC right now.

I think it would make a good companion for my freelancer mis and banu mm

Not sure, i have not been able to fly one since the free weekend.

So i have no idea how it has evolved since then.

Did a CCU on my 315p to a Hornet. Going to CCU that to a Super Hornet in the future.

Should of got the ccu to the super hornet, and waited on ccuing the 315p to hornet until you have the money for that part, since the ccu is limited and there is no telling when the ccu will go on sale again.

it may not go on sale again until November at the earliest.

Man, they REALLY messed up on the mustang right now. Super Hornet is more agile than my delta.

Sold my LTI 315p on ebay for $150, kinda wishing I hadn't now after finding out it could be upgraded to a Hornet for $45. :(

I still have two other ships with LTI so not all is lost, Aurora LN and Freelancer.

Just upgrade your aurora to a hornet

The short answer is it flies like shit. Drifts all over the place. It has a nice weapon loadout (after you customize it - default is crap), and decent shields, but it is sort of a sitting duck.

What other ships are confirmed that have not been available for sale yet? Is there a list of them, any of them limited edition etc? I know Hull-C is coming, but what else?

Dragonfly is the one I am waiting for atm, but thats very long out before any kinda sale for it most likely.

That is a shame. Personally none of them interest me, maybe Hull-C but thats about it....The research facility ship with the ambulance could be cool but would be more trouble than its worth unless it is backed by some fun and lucrative in game mechanic.

It looks like the flyable "limited" ships are now available for REC for everyone 24/7. (Thank god lol) Hopefully CIG sticks with it and doesn't revert the change do to some of the subscribers and owners of limited ships.

Hmm... Since the latest patch my character is just a pair of floating eye balls in the hangar.

I had the same issue, I loaded up a free flight sim and when I came back my body was there. I think it's a texture loading issue/bug since every time I load the game the first time all I get are eye balls lol

I see... Well, I hope that they will fix it soon. By the way, are they still planning on releasing the fps module this month?

can likely turn it into a drug factory and go breaking bad on the universe with illegal goods.

they are working on it but from my understanding they are recoding some of the back-end netcode and as soon as that's done then they can get the fps module going. My gut says they won't get it done this month but rather next month.

I'm really curious how the pricing model for these will work for the various sized ships. These are just pure cargo ships of various capacities and smuggling abilities, so do we use the bargain bin Taurus as the mode for something like a Hull B with slightly more cargo? If so I'd say Hull A $50 to $70 with close to cap of a Freelancer, Hull B $150 with more then a Taurus, Hull C at about $275 to $300 with the insane Idris (old 150m-250m) sizes and the Hull D at $350 to $550 for something really stupidly insane big (250m-350m) at a very limited number. There is also possibly the Hull E NPC exclusive.

I keep hearing people talk about the HULL E but I never heard CIG say anything about it, I easily could have missed it though. The HULL D was suppose to be the huge transport. I expect that to be around 500m or above considering the HULL C was originally spec'd at 225m. I don't know where the HULL E fits in unless it's 1000m or so. Maybe they went back and resized everything, idk we should find out in a few days I guess lol. anyway I'll be being the biggest epeen I can afford :) ...

IDK about the prices, the Tarus was fairly cheap compared to the other ships that size so I would expect them to be a cheaper than most but then again they have changed how they price things since then.

Have any of you guys tried multi-crewing the Cutlass yet? You can't do anything but walk around in the ship, but it can be done apparently.

Oh yeah. I think turrets have some basic functionality too.

So I have way to much time on my hands and I tried to figure out where this stuff about the HULL E came from and unless it's been confirmed elsewhere, it's not confirmed at all. Ben had a off comment on RTV saying that he thought there where 5 HULL series ships (he wasn't even sure about it) and then going on to describe them he can't even remember the details correctly. So it makes me wonder if there is such a thing as a HULL E or just the figment of internet nerds.

Long story short, I drink to much and I want to smack internet r-tards around like little red headed step children for calling things confirmed. That's just the way god made me.

I have no idea if any of you guys even care but for some reason I did and now I have to wait another week for possibly some closure, or some more rum which seems to be gone again....

Sounds like you need a HULL D filed with rum.

If I remember right, Hull D was going to be the super cargo container ship and anything bigger than that would not be an E, but have a special name for that ship. Source was a few RTV back from Ben.

Hull pricing is up:

Hull A - $60 USD
Hull B - $90 USD
Hull C - $200 USD
Hull D - $350 USD
Hull E - $550 USD

So much for releasing NPC only ships. Looks like they are covering all their bases though.
