If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times. Risking a lawsuit or jail time just so you can leak something to the internet is just plain stupid.

Major labels including Sony, Warner and Universal are suing a man after he allegedly obtained unreleased music created by some of their biggest stars. Following an FBI investigation the man was traced to Sweden, where he will stand trial next month for leaks related to artists including Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown and Mary J Blige.

His real crime was sharing such shitty music.

It mostly wasn't worth it because he was leaking Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown.

So happy this case was so important that the FBI got into it!

It was a grave threat to our national security and everyone's well being, don't you just feel that much safer and better off now that this severe issue is being taken care of?

Makes me all warm and fuzzy to see a pirate/hacker caught. To me, it's a perfect use of our FBI resources.

Did I say anything that would lead any sane person to think that the entirety of the FBI's resources were put at this? No I'm saying the fact the FBI (and god damn department) was brought in to see who leaked unreleased music is a fucking travesty and a waste of resources.

I had an accountant coworker who was working toward being an FBI Forensic Accountant. This sounds like exciting work compared to what he was wanting to do.
