Long story short, I buy smething off off ft/fs and USPS tracking claim it ias suppose to have deliver but I received nothing. Seller even add insurance to it too. Whjat are the chances that usps claim it is delivered but it is not?

This occurs sometimes.

File a claim (you or seller I forget who needs to.)

Good luck getting your item. I had an item lost that took them 4mo to find, and it was broken into pieces. We're talking about an insured, "special" type item that should NEVER be "lost".

I have this happen at-least 2-6x a year between usps/fedex/ups.. random packages go missing. Stolen, left at wrong address, etc...

Did you call your local post office about it? They might be able to check with the Mail person that delivers your route.

Well they close for the week already. Me and the seller agree if it doesn't get deliver on monday he will go complain and i will go postal at my post office.

USPS mis-delivers things on a regular basis, if my experience is typical. It could be with a neighbor. If so, hopefully they will bring it to you.

I've also had online tracking show a package as delivered, check the door and nothing. An hour later the carrier showed up with it and when I mentioned the discrepancy in tracking, he said he just scans everything as delivered before he actually does the delivery.

THIS!

Missdeliveries are bad with all carriers. We've had packages replaced by amazon to then have another show up from a neighbor who had it for a week, and opened it even though it wasn't to them.

If you get a lot of packages you deal with a ton of these random problems.

LOL at USPS! I live in a Apt complex ,my stupid mailman just LEAVES all my packages at my door. now ANYONE walking by can steal them. and this has happened 2 times. 1 packages was a Galaxy Note 3! even UPS leaves box's at my door. I have repeatedly told both mailman AND post office about this they wont do anything....

I had a package marked as delivered on usps....

eventually it showed up at my apartment doorstep 1 month later....

Seller needs to contact USPS and open a claim.

If the seller tries to push this on you, remind him that it's their duty to ensure the item gets to you, not yours. The seller has everything he needs to open a claim: tracking/label number, mailing receipt, proof of value, etc.

Try that on Ebay lol. Seller shipped packaged i never got, ebay told me to suck it.

I've had similar problems with Fedex in the UK.
My last 2 orders through them were a mess.
They lied both times about it being delivered and even made a story up about where it was placed.
The deception was only uncovered when the order turned up much much later (weeks then days late respectively).

Fingers crossed it does get delivered.
My port of call to get it resolved was through the company I ordered from.
They were anxious about losing customers through bad delivery experiences and dealt with me amicably.

What time was it delivered? I had a package marked as "delivered" but it never showed up, turns out the driver was marking them when he loaded them onto the truck in the morning instead of at each delivery like he was supposed to. Decided it wasn't worth my time to pursue, but I don't use them anymore for even remotely expensive items.

What kind of chicken scratch writing is on that label?

Dunno, but it had the address, wanna bet the mail guy read it wrong, dropped it off at a neighbor and the neighbor brought it over this morning?

Well, I am not sure how it got to me. It is missing my last name and it is missing the unit number,.

who was the sell of the item? i want to add them to my DNT list if thats the label they write

God bless that chicken scratch... and I thought my handwriting was horrendous.

I find with USPS if the carrier is busy and wants to go home they will just mark all my stuff as delivered and drop it off tomorrow.

This happens at my work allll the time. Stupid lazy mail lady.
