Ever since I received 10041, UPlay refuses to launch due to:

A debugger has been found running in your system.
Please, unload it from memory and restart your program.

Anyhoo, this is even after a wipe and reinstall. No other programs installed. Well, video drivers and stuff like that.

Anybody else?

Thanks for the link.
I added to the fray and I have sent feedback through the insiders program.

Well, I would expect debuggers and loggers to be running on a beta OS so MS has use and crash dumps sent to them. Not too surprised by this myself.

You legally bought the game...have you considered using a no cd crack....might get you by till they fix the issue which could be a while...what game is it your having trouble with? I only mention this cause i got the urge to replay crysis 1 in 64bit dx10 and first thing it said was operating system not supported.downloaded a pirate/no cd crack and it worked like a charm the first try lol:)

I'll add my 2¢ to the fray and add a couple of other comments as well.

I've done so as well. Hopefully they don't go "lalalala I am not listening lalalalalala" ala Axel Foley as they have for the past 3 years.

Yeah...
I thought so as well.
Not falling on my sword over it considering it's a test of an unrealeased operating system and stuff like this is going to happen but...:D

I hope they get it fixed sooner rather than later. I am enjoying 10 so far. Already played FC4 damn near 3 times already so I can take a break from Ubi games for a while.

Just as an FYI, no trouble with Steam or Origin with this issue so hopefully an easy fix for UBI (I don't see MS turning off anything so def gonna have to be an UBI fix). Only problem is going to be getting the program started to recieve an update. If you read the comments over at Microsoft you know that if you just keep clicking on it, it eventually launches. Just won't install any games, for me, at least. Some have reported sporadic success getting a game to launch.

Yeah, I can see how that'd be annoying. At worst, it'll be gone when the OS launches. I know that's not much help right now. I know people here are quick to jump on hating/blaming MS for every issue, but I personally would be taking this up with Ubi. I'd be surprised if they released a special client though for a beta OS :-/

Not sure if it's erroneous detection or if debugging is actually on. From an admin command prompt, you could try bcdedit /dbgsettings to see what it currently says and use bcdedit /debug off if it's on, then reboot.

did you use the installer with the game or did you download uplay from ubisofts website?

Try uninstalling uplay and download it from ubisofts website and reinstall it. That is how I was able to get Far Cry 3 to run on 10041.

I got the same thing but if you click a few times it would still launch the game.

10049 that just came out works perfectly and there is an update for UPlay as soon as you launch it under the new build.
