‘HBO Now’ Will Launch As Apple Exclusive

Okay, there seems to be a lot of confusion surrounding this Apple exclusivity deal with HBO, so let me set the record straight.

HBO Now will indeed be available on iOS devices, Apple TV and PC; HOWEVER, in order to sign-up for it you'll need to use the HBO Now app which is only going to be available via ipad, iphone, and Apple TV. If you have a stand alone PC with no ios device or apple TV you will NOT be able to use the service. AFTER you sign up for HBO Now via the app you can then stream HBO Now from your browser.

I really want to legitimately watch this season of GoT, so what I've opted to do was buy a secondhand apple TV from an end-user on Amazon to make sure crApple doesn't profit off of me. What I'll do is simply sign-up for the service with the Apple TV and then sell it to someone else who wants to do the same.

I just bought a refurbished unit from some guy on Amazon for $55. Once I'm done with it I'd be more than happy to pass it on to any of you guys wanting to do the same. I figure I'll let it go for the same $55 I paid for it. Heck, I'll even eat the shipping too. Anything to help fellow rebels game the system.

I'd rather wait til after the 90day exclusivity period ends, and HBO Now is opened to the other platforms. (specifically Roku, Amazon or TiVo) I haven't used my iTunes account since 2007, and have no desire to get back into that garden.

Besides, I've been a GoT follower since 2011 just by waiting for the BD/DVDs. I can wait another 3-6 months.

The Show has really grown. The only reason I can't wait for BD or DVDs is because of all the spoilers that people post all over the internet. Seriously, right after every episodes the internet just erupts with word of mouth. Every major website posts article stories on the front page with spoiler headlines in all caps. It's ridiculous

I have an ancient Ipod touch (Gen 2?) which I use as an alarm clock. I plan to use it to sign up for HBO Now.

They're started to stray pretty far from the original story at this point, so at least you have less spoilers from those degenerate book readers.

Why do they need to put fucking gay scene in every tv serie now?
Fucking even game of thrones.

I don't mind gay, but I don't need to see it on tv.
