Kickstarter - TSI Seven Dragon Saga - New Gold Box by Former SSI Designers

I backed this one on day 1 of their campaign. Really enjoyed the old Goldbox games and figured that they would not launch the Kickstarter unless they were confident of delivering their product.
 
Heavy references to SSI on their KS page has caught my attention, but I'm cautious on this one. Need to do more reading before backing.
 
So what type of gameplay RPG? Turned based? Virtual Cards?

NM see it's Top Down =) Hell Pillars of Eternity comes out next week I'll see how good it is in comparison =)

Still have Divinity Original Sin to play

Then TOS coming out later this year along with Tides I'm set for a while
 
Intriguing for sure. The goldbox games were favorites of mine back when I was younger. Scrolling down, it seems they've put together an interesting team of developers.
 
I played the Gold Box games a lot when I was in high school. I had a blast with them.

I am going to watch this one and may pledge near the end.
 
I played the hell out of the Gold Box games back in the day. I'll be watching this for sure, but I'm a bit skeptical about a preorder.
 
Ummm dunno wtf happened, somebody miscalculated something somewhere I guess.

Wasn't following closely yet, but seems pretty damn rude the way it was canceled.

I would definitely had backed it.
 
I think they realized that the game needs to be further along before people would be willing to give the amount of money being requested.
