Well this is very sad news. :(

Malsch, who was seen running away from the scene, was captured by Redmond police who used a dog to track him. He faces vehicular homicide and felony hit and run charges. On Monday, a King County judge ordered Malsch held on $100,000 bail.

RIP. So sad that he worked on something this fascinating and never got to see it come to public.

Just far too many lives ripped apart by impaired.

Its unfortunate, I found the hololens very interesting. If it works half as good as the demos they showed I'll be very impressed. I'm alot more excited to see about hololens then the other VR headsets.

Ugh. That is way too damn young to die.

RIP, brother.

Everyone that has tried it has raved about it. Not a single had comment has been made about how it works so either they are handing out a few hundred thousand with every chance at giving it a try or it really is going to work just as good as the demos.

Sounds like they should have a strong case against him to nail him to the wall.

I drive through that intersection every day during the commute. It's where SR520 turns into Avondale.

Aside from the assclown who did this being "on something" the intersection is notorious, as 520 terminates into service street. People blow into the intersection crazy fast, all the time.

I could wish that communities would step up and let local LE know where problem zones are, especially when involving roads, intersections, etc.

Horrific news, I dread the day when my kids get their own vehicles. Assholes like this are always going to be on the road and it scares the crap out of me.

Not to mention this little chicken shit, sorry excuse for a human being tried to fucking run. Real bright, douche bag right there.

100 mph and this asshole survives? Forget running, he should've killed himself.

Thats how it generally works though isn't it.

Somehow these bags of human debris make it out alive.

The victims are always the innocent.

I feel sorry for the Friends and Family of this talented young engineer. Thoughts and Prayers for them. This is the one reason if I ever drink my limit is two 12 ounce beers and that is it even if I do drink. Which is not often.

I guess you could call it the Anti-Darwin Award. To balance it out I hope he will be in prison until he is no longer able to find a mate to reproduce with.
