Sandisk Micro SD 128GB - Format issue can't see data

I have a Sandisk Ultra 128 MicroSD card. I formatted it and used it with my GoPro Hero 3. I know it isn't supported. I have tested it in the past and it worked. I took the camera out for some track day footage at Road Atlanta and the camera recognizes all seven videos on there as it shows the current number of videos/ photos on the camera.

When I put the card in a card reader or use the USB port on the camera, windows sees the disk but prompts me to format it. When I originally formatted it I used the camera to delete all data and format - which I believe was a mistake. I think I formatted it manually in a terminal versus the automatic function on the camera.

Help! What can I do to see the proper partition/ files, etc?

Maybe try viewing it in linux or a live usb stick?

Then copy your files.

Often when I use image writer with a flash card I can't view most of the space in windows even to reformat it to use all the space again but it's easy in linux, at least with my knowledge. That's sort of unrelated but just to illustrate I find linux to be more instantly compatible with reading non standardly formatted cards, usb sticks etc.

I just used EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard as I don't have access to a USB drive that I can load a live OS on right now. Once again, EaseUS worked like a charm. I was thinking the partition tables would be completely gone and I would be SOL. Then again, maybe it can see data from old partitions? I don't know.

Thanks for the suggestion!
