3D artist Martin Hajek used his considerable skills (Jedi powers?) to come up with the iSaber. I snagged a few images before he is sued by Apple and Disney. ;)
 
Shouldn't an iSaber have 2 blades like many of the Sith Lords ?
At least he got the color right (red)
 
Actually if Apple made lightsabers it would probably look like the sharp edged abomination with the lightsaber crossguard shown in the recent trailer, since it's allegedly Jonathan Ive that gave Abrams the idea for it.

Though it looked kinda cool at first I do agree with you. Lightsabre was never supposed to be a "heavy" weapon. The cross guard just makes it clumsy.
 
Gonna be a bummer when it needs to be charged and the brand new lightning cable they just replaced for the 10th time fails.
 
Love that it includes a camera function. He should have made the lens jut out as a poke at the new iPhone.
