Corsair Graphite Series 780T Full-Tower Case Review - Today we review a case from Corsair that will fit many more enthusiasts' needs, the Graphite Series 780T chassis with room for huge motherboards. This full tower comes with lots and lots of water cooling in mind, a built in fan controller, smartly designed hard drive and solid state drive housing, and has a Companion Cube-ish look.

They looks great! I just refuse to have a window on my case. It's a PC not a fucking fish tank.

This is the upgrade for the 600T, i might consider getting this

This case is really making me consider replacing my original mountain mod case.

This is the first case since when the 700D was previewed that I really lusted over, so much so that I even predicted back in July that it would be used by MaximumPC for their 2014 Dream Machine.. but MPC got stupid and didn't. Glad to find out that Steve thought it was,,

PS.. not to be too picky.. but just wondering why does the [H] awards still say "Enthusiast" on it? Been awhile since that distinction was needed!! Might as well use this one.. means the same thing..

meh, still doesn't touch the 540 air in my . i agree there is too much plastic for that price.

Looks nice, hope they have a version without the window eventually.

Cases without windows do not sell very well at that price point.

Basically it seems that if you want to spend $100 or more on a case, you absolutely must have a window.

However, the side panels are reversible and we sell spare parts on our website for modders, so if you wanted to you could just buy another solid side panel and roll your own, so to speak.

Silly question, but why New Egg prices at the end?

I thought because of behind the scenes wrangling between the site and New Egg, they were the devil and Amazon was [H]ardJesus?

I want a yellow one, but don't see any at NewEgg or Amazon. :(

Successor to 600T? Some quick notes--

600T -- 4x5.25" Drive Bays
780 -- 2x5.25" Drive Bays

600T -- 2x200mm fans (front and top), 1x120mm (rear)
780 -- 3x140mm fans -- (2 front, 1 rear) space for top, appears max size for all fans is 140 (?)

That said tho I do like the extra space / comfort for watercooling and their radiators/fans. And honestly the included fans on the 600t are crap -- one totally stopped working, other is barely spinning (purchased new like 10/2011), got 2 new ones from newegg on the way. Also the 780 case appears a lot larger than the 600t so it will likely be fairly huge as the 600t is no slouch in the size dept. Not sure why it got so big as I would think removing 2x5.25 drive bays would be enough room for the larger fan intake possibility (2x140mm tho 1x140 stock vs 1x200) / radiator space.

Hmm... compared to the Enthoo Primo:

Enthoo Primo:
- All metal design (vs plastic); aluminum front; steel chasis
- Better water cooling support
- PSU is side mounted

780T Pros:
- Cheaper
- Can support XL ATX
- Arguably easier to work with

Functional case, I'll keep it in mind.

For myself, I've been preferring metal/alum. windowed cases lately.

I have just purchased two of the 780T cases and both of them the case usb 3.0 ports do not work. Other than that it is a nice case but they have to go back until I get one that the USB 3 PORTS work.

That's quite odd.. both cases having the same faulty USB3.0 ports. Were you able to complete your builds with those cases?

I picked one of these up, it's super nice and roomy for what I did with it.

Not a fan of the mesh on the front at all. And what do we have to do to get a GLASS side panel? Make them ourselves?

I understand on lower end cases, but we should be seeing glass panel on high end cases.

I'm very picky when it comes to buying chassis, at the end it was always a SilverStone, but this time I went with the Corsair 780T after seeing how slick it looks  with that huge window panel. Personally it's definitely one of the best looking case from Corsair, I love this one so far!

You're entitled to your own opinion.

Now here's my opinion about it. It looks ridiculously :D awesome! on my desk, like a piece of hardware artworks and I get nothing but  drooling faces from my guest when they see it :D. I had to built 4 and made that $$$$ ;).

Glad to see that you like the case :) and thanks for sharing your feedback.

I will have to agree with you, it is one of the best looking case we've ever made. And it is because of our 600T - it is the reason why the 780T is designed the way it is ;)

I've been looking into the Mini ITX section and I must say, with all the research  and I'm still doing more research, before making the final decision.
@ the end I have my eyes  on the Corsair Obsidian 250D, it has the best layout and has the best price well within the budget for what you get , I'm getting it!:D
