You guys are doing awesome. I see a few of you are chewing through the ranks and also see that Grandpa is demolishing everything in his path as usual. Keep up the great work guys.

Careful, Linden, you'll be a badge hound in no time flat. ;)

Speaking of which....

Achieved Ruby and Emerald in OET since yesterdays update. :)

Also crossed over 50 years combined for WCG this weekend:
Total Run Time (y:d:h:m:s) 50:327:05:22:56l (#2,093)
Points Generated 57,414,754 (#2,294)

Team wise, we dropped one in both 'Total Run Time' and 'Results Returned'. Good work guys :)

15 Years for OET. Things are going a little slower as I lost use of a quad E5-4640V2 and another 2S system.

Hit 10 years processing in MCM and Bronze in 'The Clean Energy Project':

  • Mapping Cancer Markers - 10 years Diamond
  • FightAIDS@Home - Sapphire
  • Uncovering Genome Mysteries - Ruby
  • The Clean Energy Project - Bronze

Total Run Time: 14:211:19:32:11
Points: 18,714,203

Where are you guys getting those links to the badges? I can click on the link I obtain from copying "image location" in your posts, but pasting it in the browser doesn't work.

Linden, you have to put [ img ] before the link without the spaces and then [ /img ] after the link

Honestly, within Fire Fox, I just right click on my badge from the My Contribution page and select View Image Info. Then I copy the Location address and paste it....

That's what I've been doing. I just noticed the icons I post are different than some of the same-project icons posted. Doesn't rarely make a difference - I just enjoy the little details.

Hit my current milestone/goals for WCG.

Crossed 10,000,000 BOINC points a day or two ago

Achieved 20 Years for Outsmarting Ebola Together this morning
oet1_8.jpg
Started OET WUs on Feb 17th (21 days ago), so am quite pleased with this!

Total run time is just over 66 years.

Decided that UGM needed to become Sapphire... which is now is. :p

Can't believe how much slower UGM progresses vs. OET! Maybe I'm thinking of this the wrong way, but badges are based on CPU time, right? So in theory, all projects should progress at a relatively similar rate if done on the same hardware. Was blowing through OET at roughly 1-day per year; but UGM is taking ~3-days per year. Of course there's likely a big ass gaping hole in my logic and I'm just too dense to see it. ;)

fastgeek, check the system overhead. UGM (unless they fixed this issue as I know they were looking into it) is IO heavy thus potentially slowing things down for you. Double check the obvious things like all cores/threads are being used. Plus, we should move that discussion to the WCG thread.
