Silver in Sophie Germain Prime Search LLR (SGS)
sgs_silver.png

It took forever, since these are only worth ~40 points each.

Guess I'll add my $0.02 in. :p

Just passed four million points. :)

Silver badges in the following:

321 LLR
ESP LLR
SGS LLR
TRP LLR
TRP Sieve
Genfer LLR

Gold badges in the following:

PPS LLR
SR5 LLR
PPS Sieve
Sierpinski (ESP/PSP/SoB) Sieve

Incorrectly thought I had found three primes; now realize I was the "double-checker" for these (and more). We'll chalk this up to a rookie mistake. :)

Am throwing a bunch of cores at this while I can; snowballs chance in hell of getting one of those jerseys, but worth a try. ;)

Currently at 8,350,xxx points.

In the last ~24 hours my systems have found three primes:

PPS: 7425*2^1309852+1 394,309 (decimal)

SGS: 1834669514667*2^1290000-1 and 1825055584497*2^1290000-1 388,341 (decimal for both)

Been the doublechecker for 4x PPS and 4x SGS

Keep hoping a PPS-Mega or Genfer will pan out; but no luck so far. :p

I found another SGS LLR prime

1842164752965*2^1290000-1

9.25M and found another one:

Proth Prime Search 6981*2^1311253+1 394,731 (decimal)

Just crossed 10,000,000 points and found another prime:

Proth Prime Search 4461*2^1309563+1 (394222 digits)

Am backing off PG for a while; still have quite a few tasks in progress and a lot left to verify though.

Double Bronze?! Congrats!

It's cool that PG offers these badges when so many cap out at far lower levels. :)

Yeah..their badges were setup before GPU's were popular or even commonly used. So, they have had to adjust where some of the other GPU projects added badges after GPU's were in use. It was easier for those projects to balance the badges with the hardware. PrimeGrid has been a very well ran project.

Thanks, fastgeek!

Absolutely agree; PrimeGrid is easily one of the best run projects out there.

After that DoubleBronze from RFGuy_KCCO I almost feel like I'm dirtying up this thread with the following update to my collection since Mid-Feb. :p Sorry if it's a bit of a mess... haven't been very good about updating with this project.

ESP =

&
esp_amethyst.png

PPS =

SR5 =
sr5_amethyst.png
&

SGS =

PPS Sieve =
sr2sieve_pps_amethyst.png

GFN =
genefer_amethyst.png
&
genefer_ruby.png

(That GFN Ruby took for ever due to waiting on wingmen; damn near gave up hope!)

Think that's current for badge updates.

Have found 10 Primes (5 PPS and 5 SGS) thus far. Was hoping to score a SR5 when that challenge was underway; but no such luck!

Picked up an Emerald badge for Genefer overnight. It took forever for some of my World Record WU's to be validated by a wingman, but they finally were and they put me over the top:

Sierpinski (ESP/PSP/SoB) Sieve - went Amethyst
sr2sieve_psp_amethyst.png
(1 million points)

Amethyst for Sierpinski (ESP/PSP/SOB) Sieve:

Gold for 321 (LLR):

Amethyst for TRP (The Riesel Problem) Sieve today:

I am now working on Gold for SGS (LLR).

Looks like I found another Prime! This is my second, so far.

Dear Primefinder,

Congratulations! Our records indicate that a computer registered by you has found a unique prime number. This computer is running BOINC, is attached to the PrimeGrid project, and is assigned to the Sophie Germain Prime Search. What makes this prime unique is that it's large enough to enter the Top 5000 List in Chris Caldwell's The Largest Known Primes Database.

Since you have auto-reporting selected, the following prime was submitted on your behalf:

Added 120044 : 2054619206997*2^1290000-1 (388342 digits)

This prime was found on this workunit which will automatically show as a prime result after verification by the Largest Known Primes Database.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us and we will surely resolve any problems.

Once again, congratulations on your find! Thank you for participating in PrimeGrid.

I hit Double Silver for PPS (Sieve) during the challenge this past weekend:

Now I am working on Amethyst for PSP LLR and SGS LLR, and am very close to Double Bronze on Genefer.
