Microsoft is putting the finishing touches on the new Office 2016 (or whatever name the company will use on the finished product) and is giving it a test run. If you are participating in the Windows 10 Technical Preview, you can go straight to your store and download Office for Windows 10 Preview. You can also get there from the links in the article, couldn't be easier. Office 2016 will be available to the general public in conjunction with the release of Windows 10 sometime in late Q315 or early Q415.
There will be a traditional, full featured desktop client, including the entire suite of Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Access, and Publisher. But up until now, there has not been a publicly available version of Office for touch based Windows computers.
