Final Mouse 2015 is released

I guess this isn't the one they are talking about think it's the AURORA or something.

great reviews, what is it so good about this mouse compare to g502? i am looking to buy g502 and now it is hard to decide.

G502 sensor should still be better, it's supposedly a "custom" version of the 3310 (improved).

Other than that it just becomes a preference issue based upon other aspects. The latter differences will likely be much more noticeable for the vast majority of people. For example if you wanted a lighter mouse than get those over the G502.

But I don't think any mouse can be perfect because everyone has different Hands Tastes Desktops and Chairs.

I wonder how long before someone offers a "gaming" mouse with a shell based upon individual custom hand molds.

An Amazon review it said that the mouse doesn't require drivers? So is it impossible to bind the side buttons to a keystroke? That would be a deal breaker

You can likely change it in game, though because of no software there is probably no way to change it in your OS.

You can do it without specific drivers it just isn't as "simple" (or complex maybe depending on how you feel about things like Razer Synapse 2.0 :p)

I believe it's modifiable in registry.

Also there are generic macro programs such as autohotkey.

Or more specific third party programs such as X-Mouse.

This is an example of there is no perfect mouse due to preference issues. To some not having drivers is positive point while others may not feel the same.

Aside from the more objective aspects such as the sensor performance (most important) and durability, build and switch performance it becomes rather subjective. Even sensor performance is a bit tricky since certain behaviors that are considered bad might actually be wanted by certain people (eg. prediction, acceleration).

I'm tempted to grab one as my dedicated gaming mouse. What would be a good mouse pad to go with it?

I bought one... I'm a mouse idiot and try them all. It's day one so too early to tell... But my concerns with build quality are gone. It doesn't feel cheap at all.

I am liking the shape but it is going to take a bit of time you see if it replaces my zowie ec1 evo that currently reigns supreme.

It's definitely not built poorly at all. They use glossy plastic that appears to be cheap, but it has a purpose though. I've got one that I'm reviewing, and so far the experience is positive.

The scroll wheel light on mine died within 20 minutes of me using it... And the side buttons are too stiff and push into the mouse frame if that makes any sense.

edit: on another forum ive seen people say they've had the same issues and the replacement mouse they got had the same problems.
