Fassbender And Rogan As Jobs And Wosniak On Set

Fassbender might make a goof Jobs. I think I still would have rather had BAle though.

I'm pretty sure Rogen is way too outgoing (and IMO stupid) to be Woz.

Eh, kind of close. The big determining factor will be how they embody the personalities of Jobs and The Woz to the big screen.

At the same time, Ashton Kutcher looked just like him and look how that turned out.

Seth Rogen can only play Seth Rogan. He plays himself in every movie. He can act only as himself. And he is likable but he can't play characters.

Winner!

Wait another fucking Jobs movie? Is this like when they announce the Rock was going to play Hercules someone else says "lets put out a Hercules movie first with way less known, and cheaper, actors" except instead of doing it all around the same time they're doing it years apart because people think it's relevant.

Sweet! Another Jobs movie. I wonder what it will be about this time.

Eventually they're going to make him into a KungFu master roaming the countryside of California saving people. And Woz will be his ever trusting sidekick.

Noah Wyle did the best Steve Jobs portrayal I have seen. I can't think of anyone who could top it.

So I read this and for some reason I get the idea "the Rock is going to play Ballmer". :)

Whether the actors looks pretty much alike their real character is not important, what matters is the acting skill and some kind of physical similarities.

That being said, Arnold Schwarzenegger would have certainly made a very good Steve Jobs.:p

As long as this stars Nicoloas Cage as both characters.

I heard they were going to make a fourth movie in a couple of years, tentatively titled "iJobs Mini", starring Peter Dinklage as Jobs and Jeff Bridges as The Woz.

Are they going to try and match hair styles at least? Rogan would look pretty close if he'd lose the curls, for example. Not sure who the other guy is, but he may looks OK with the glasses and hair... that can make a huge difference.

They should have just gotten James Franco and made this another comedy.

::gets fired from Apple::

"They hate us cuz they ain't us!"

I didn't know he's likeable. People like him? He seems to only be able to do unfunny comedies and stupid tweets.

So is this one going to be billed as a comedy? I don't think anyone's taking Steve Jobs movies seriously anymore at this point, least of all with Seth Rogen in it.

I don't see why they don't just have Wosniak play Wosniak. The dude is unemployed with not a whole lot else going on.

Because he's old and fat now and the movie is about the time when he was a skinny young man?

Considering his net worth is $100 million I don't think he is too worried about the unemployed part.

This is the Aaron Sorkin Steve Jobs story. Expect it to be super-serious, but have no bearing to reality or actual persons, just like The Social Network.

QFT!

I still don't think we needed another Steve Jobs biopic after POSV, so the third one after Pirates deserves nothing but scorn.

But Pirates of Silicon Valley portrays Steve Jobs as a selfish, arrogant prick who bullies his employees, forces them to work hours on end, doesn't care about other people, including his daughter or co-founders who he screwed out of stock allocations, just happened to be at the right place at the right time, and is worshipped by people for unknown reasons! Even Bill Gates is portrayed as an arrogant and manipulative genius!

Surely we need another movie about Jobs that deals with more truthiness!

Mr. M. Night Shamalanana should be included in that movie, playing the part of an unsuspecting bar-tender

Fassbender is a great actor. Rogen...not so much.

Regardless, Steve Jobs doesn't deserve the slightest bit of attention, so this movie is a travesty.
