I have a Tesoro Ts-G3NL colada gaming keyboard. Everything is running fine, but this morning, when I turn on the PC, it's not seeing my keyboard.

So I unplug and re-plug the USB keyboard, and that didn't work. On the driver side, it should show "G3 gaming keyboard" under human interface devices, but it's not showing that.

When I try to install the driver disk, it says Gaming keyboard not found.

And when re-plug in the USB gaming keyboard, it shows USB Input Device, but it's not seeing it as a gaming keyboard.

Loading up a prev. restore point from last week changes NOTHING.

is there anyone who owns this keyboard knows any trick to restore back the keyboard driver? or have win 7 detects your keyboard successfully?

Not to state the obvious but have you tried another usb port? Same results?

tried several USB port, same thing. I can't be the only person who own this keyboard in hardforum?

I just did. On 2 different machine. Both running win 7, 1 of them is a freshly format hard drive that has nothing except win 7 in it.

when the keyboard USB port is installed, win 7 sees it as USB input device.

Same error. After the Colada keyboard software driver is installed, it says:

Cannot Find Gaming Keyboard

any opinion?

How can a mechanical keyboard be defective? It's mechanical, it's just simple USB connection

It has a digital controller that manages the inputs it gets from the switches you are pressing.

That controller is dead.

You require a replacement keyboard.

that's great. It's just under 1 yr. warranty. Is it just the Tesoro brand? Or does other brand also die that fast? I am looking into the Cougar 700K as a replacement.

this is the keyboard that I use, obviously it c/w that digital controller that you're talking about

is that digital controller for the use of ANY mechanical keyboard? Or only on back lit mechanical keyboard?

As well, does this keyboard also have that digital controller:
