My current phARM (only thing missing is my Galaxy S3 and an old Vortex)

These are running BOINC not FAH.

10 of them are also running Perk TV alongside BOINC earning $$$. A couple of them run Swagbucks part of the day also earning $$$. Otherwise, they sit there and crunch.

Intrigare, I don't have a tester for the power draw right now, but I'm hoping to get ahold of a kil-a-watt from the library soon. Pretty much all info I have read is that they are more efficient PPW than traditional CPU's and GPU's. They just take a lot longer.

ChristianVirtual, I may get to that soon. Lots of chaos projects with little time at the moment.

1 - Vortex - single core
1 - Optimus V - single core
7 - Optimus Fuel - dual core
3 - Moto E - dual core
1 - Rise- single core
1 - Rhyme - single core
1 - Galaxy Centura - single core
1 - Galaxy Proclaim - single core

Not pictured is my Galaxy S3 (dual core) and an Ally (single core). My above post said the Vortex wasn't shown, but it was. It was the Ally that wasn't. I had a quad core RCA tablet but it died within a week, so returned it. I also had a Bionic but just sold it on eBay.

I run PerkTV on a few devices as well. I had no idea that you could contribute to Distributed Computing projects on mobile devices. Awesome!

What did you do to get boinc running on your fuels?

As to the questions about power draw used a measures current on a USB port and after they were charged my phones we're only pulling about a 1 - 1.5 watts while perking and crunching. This was with the brightness set to the lowest setting.

BOINC is in the Play Store now. Just install it like any other app. They are having problems with Android 5 (lollipop) so people using that should hold off using BOINC for a bit. The next version of BOINC "should" fully support it and the projects have to recompile their ARM apps to work. This was a Android change that caused this and not a BOINC one.

On my fuels it seemed to be complaining about the lack of memory since they are only 512MB.

what projects? I told boinc to use either 80 or 90% of memory.. . default is like 50% if I recall correctly.

WCG. I'll muck with tonight. I've got a couple of fuels that aren't in my perk farm currently I can mess with. :)

I just added BOINC to a second Android device today, an old Moto Matrix (I believe it was the first dual core Android phone? I could be wrong...) running 2.2, so I had to DL a 3rd party app called NativeBOINC to run BOINC, since the official client only supports =>2.3. I can't root this phone because it belongs to my employer (the Death Star).

My other Android device is a 3 year old Pantech Element tablet. It is also running BOINC. I might have to get these two devices in on that money making app. :D

Well Perk TV is Android 4.0+ and iOS 6+ only. Swagbucks is Android 2.2.2+ but is a lot more babysitting. If you do decide to do them, contact me via PM before setting up an account. Currently, Perk TV pays out enough that you can buy some decent refurb phones (dual core) or find some special deals that can pay for themselves within 2 weeks of running. After that is pure profit. So, hit me up via PM if interested...

I had to get rid of the HTC Rhyme. The battery was beginning to swell and it is built in. Not worth the hassle to replace. I did replace it with another Moto E. My wife took a Moto E right after and replaced it with her Optimus Fuel.
