Hi - I'm working on setting up office 2007 on my mom's Yoga 3 pro. I have a Yoga 2 pro. When I try to run setup - it immediately asks me to install a key. On her computer, it doesn't give me a place to enter the key. On mine - it does. See below:

I tried also downloading the latest copy of Office from Microsoft's website - and encountered the exact same problem.

To be clear - this is a fully legal, licensed version of Office.

Any ideas?

you bought the Enterprise version for personal use?

have you tried completing the install anyway, even without entering a key?
iirc, it will allow you to enter the key on first run.

This is my mom's copy - I think it came from the local university where she was employed at the time of purchase. Not positive though.

It won't allow me to continue without entering the CD key.

eh, you need to shrink the main windows font size, the dialog box is assuming a small font and the ass-umption is plain wrong

I did some comparisons of display settings between our two computers. The only area of difference was that the scaling was set differently - on hers (the non functional one) - scaling was set all the way to the right, to "larger". On mine, it was set one step beneath that.

Making her scaling setting match mine fixed the issue.

Thanks folks!
