Dragon Age 39.99 on Orgin

Oh the game is great because it is one of those 100 hour games. I think it is worth it, but everyone has their price point that they want to spend.

I enjoyed it. It's not DA 1 or even 2 but on it's own a decent game with great story and atmosphere. My main problem with the game is the console based control system which stinks for PC players. The next patch is supposedly looking at more of the PC issues so we will see. I ended up playing through it with an Xbox controller on my PC rather than stay frustrated at the controls.

I bought this for $52 with the recent 20% off coupon (damnit), but at that price, I think its totally worth it.

Bioware has redeemed themselves. Dragon age 2 was the biggest turd in awhile. This game makes up for it in so many ways!

$40 is a fair price for a brand new recently released AAA game.
My issue is with respect to the time commitment!

Awesome game! Not much time to play, but very worth the price. You will need A LOT of time to play this one. Not sure what happened, maybe EA gave Bioware more freedom and time for this one, whatever happened it worked.

Also a great match with a Logitech G13.

I originally disliked the game after playing it for ~4 hours, but after sticking with it a bit longer (I'm probably up to 20 hours now) I have to say that I really am enjoying it. It's a little tedious sometimes, and the wall jumping leaves something to be desired, but it's a very lengthy game with all the side content you could hope for.

My only thing is... is this the complete game or should I wait until this + DLC is $40?

SOB! I just did this last night as well. Going to call and see if I can get this adjusted. EA Customer Support is actually REALLY good in this regards. I cannot say the same for Steam even though I prefer it over Origin.

I bit on this deal, last night. Looking forward to playing this weekend after all the in-laws go home. :D

There might be dlc, but honestly the game is huge, really huge. I'm pleasantly surprised EA didn't strongarm Bioware into breaking it up into at least a dozen DLC packs, kudos for that.

Its $40 for 1 of the best games out right now (ordered the deluxe for a $46). Entertainment to $$ value for 100 hours ratio is excellent. Maybe get a better job? (ducks under counter)

With the massive backlogs so many have thanks to steam sales theres not much of a reason to buy it now any way unless you are a die hard fan of the franchise, then you probably already have it.

Besides IMO Divinity at $31 is a better buy then this at $40.

I wouild have to disagree. DA:I is alot better then divinity. I have both and played both.

Now I am not saying divinity sucks, it really is a fantastic game, but DA:I is alot better.

I'll wait for the price that all new video games are worth these days, which is $15.

Well thank god its not a horrible PC port :)

Its a fabulous PC game ported to consoles!

I love the game but if you have played it, then you know it is clearly built around consoles first and then ported to PC. All that advertising crap about it being "built for PC gamers" was a lie. The controls are clearly a copy/paste from the console version. Take a look at this thread right here:

Or the short version:

Don't get me wrong, it is a great game. It's just a great game despite the controls...

Huh I don't have any issues with the controls on PC. The controls remind me of playing world of warcraft.

Sorry but I don't feel it's consolized like DA2 was.

will probably drop in price again very soon...such is the way of PC games...they lose their value quicker then any other product
