Game ratings have become highly inflated in recent times. I'm with the OP on this one.It did win best pc single player game for 2014....
I bought this for $52 with the recent 20% off coupon (damnit), but at that price, I think its totally worth it.
Bioware has redeemed themselves. Dragon age 2 was the biggest turd in awhile. This game makes up for it in so many ways!
My only thing is... is this the complete game or should I wait until this + DLC is $40?

Its $40 for 1 of the best games out right now (ordered the deluxe for a $46). Entertainment to $$ value for 100 hours ratio is excellent. Maybe get a better job? (ducks under counter)
With the massive backlogs so many have thanks to steam sales theres not much of a reason to buy it now any way unless you are a die hard fan of the franchise, then you probably already have it.
Besides IMO Divinity at $31 is a better buy then this at $40.
I'll wait for the price that all new video games are worth these days, which is $15.
Thats $5 more than I think
Since us PC players get second hand console ports, $10 is about right.
Well thank god its not a horrible PC port
Its a fabulous PC game ported to consoles!
I love the game but if you have played it, then you know it is clearly built around consoles first and then ported to PC. All that advertising crap about it being "built for PC gamers" was a lie. The controls are clearly a copy/paste from the console version. Take a look at this thread right here: http://forum.bioware.com/topic/521697-pc-community-concerns/
Don't get me wrong, it is a great game. It's just a great game despite the controls...
