It’s getting to the point these days where you might choose a game or DLC not by its content, but for who it stars. Case in point: The new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare DLC will star Bill Paxton, John Malkovich, Jon Bernthal and Rose McGowan in leading character roles.

Would anyone who wasn't already going to buy this game change their mind because of Bill Paxton?? Paul McCartney was on the Daily show and basically said it was the massive amt of money they threw his way that convinced him to do the Destiny music, but I doubt anyone cares.

I imagined John reading those lines in his PJs eating cereal...

Ghosts left a sour taste in my mouth, I don't think I will ever buy a COD game again.

I stopped buying COD or Medal of Honor games a long time ago after they started becoming nothing but annual releases with no substance and all flash. However Bill Paxton is a very dynamic actor who is perfect. Everyone know of his role in Aliens, but watch his other movies such U571, Twister to name a couple.

I've played a little of CODAW with maxed out settings. It looks like something from 2009. It plays like one big quicktime event. I guess that's their market, narrow corridor FPS.

Since when did MoH get annual releases?

MoH:AA - 2002
MoH:pacific Assault - 2004
MoH:Airborne - 2007
MoH Reboot - 2010
MoH:Warfighter - 2012

Unless you count all the console releases that happened in-between, but I personally don't since I don't play these games on consoles. Unlike CoD the gameplay between the MoH titles varies quite a bit (for better or for worse).

Each of those games had expansion packs that filled the gaps. AA had Spearhead and Breakthrough. Just to name a few.

Honestly this COD has been pretty good. I think the DLC announced here sounds funny as hell.

Bill Paxton always cracks me up.

GAME OVER MAN!@!

Not each of them, just the ones you listed. Spearhead came out the same year (2002) and Breakthrough in 2003. Back then it was pretty standard to have an expansion or two for most games, though (like Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, MechWarrior 4, AvP 2, pretty much every RTS, Call of Duty, Battlefield 1942, etc etc). The other titles didn't have any expansions. I loved the MP in AA, along with Airborne. I didn't care for the others unfortunately.

How long before this game's premise takes place on Mars by the Union Aerospace Corporation?
