What game have you logged the most hours on?

The only games I recall keeping track of were EverQuest (over 1 year worth of hours) and Morrowind (~240 hours or so).

Yeah, EQ i had about 175 DAYs played on juts one of my many characters. I can only imagine how much time i wasted back then in hours.

While I would have to say UT 99 and Half-Life+Expansions while in high school and college, I have to go to Mass Effect 3 for close to 70 hours and ME2 for close to 30...so far as games that have a timer.

In college, I spent every hour not in class playing Team Fortress Classic. After college, it was (and still is) Sim City 4 most of the time.

Only one I can still remember was from many years back: Final Fantasy X, grinding haha. Believe I had over 80 hours on it.

100 hours on BO2 Zombies. There are some games I would have hundreds upon hundreds of hours on if I had the time or a good PC.

WoW I accumulated 700 days played over 3-4 years

It's easy to do that in an MMO. I have 109 days on one character in SWTOR and at least 50 on another and a bunch of them with probably 10 days or more.

WoW without a doubt. But now I am free from its grasp...until I install it again. :x

WoW - around 14k hours (Quit playing in 2009, I worked a job that I could potentially play 16 hours a day, 8 hours at work and 8 hours at home)
CounterStrike - Probably around 3k hours before 1.6 came out, 1210 hours after 1.6, havent played since 2004
StarCraft 2 - no way to check, but I have 5k matches played, quit playing in 2011
Skyrim - 1148 hours - Quit
BF1942 - Can't check, but it's probably a lot, similar to Counter-Strike
BF2 - same as above
Dota 2 - 930 hours - Quit

Currently playing : Civilization 5, Mount and Blade: Warband - these will probably rack up over time.

I'm 30yrs old if that explains why there was way more play time when I was younger.

Wow, 14,000 equals 583 days + change...
That's......... Wow

Wow at around 500 - 600 days played.
Warframe 2130 hours.

Longest gaming session. 2 weeks of Defender on the Atari 2600. Alternated hours with my little sister. When we got tired and cut the machine off it never started up again. had to buy a new one. :)

Honorable mention is Aion with my 40 hour sessions with 2 hour breaks in between.. Did that for a year.

Eve Online. 1000's of hours. I don't even want to know the total. That's why I had to give it up. That game requires a large amount of hours if your in an active corporation with lofty goals.

Impressive stamina to rack up those kinds of hours. I can't game more than an hour, maybe two at a stretch. I doubt I have more than 1,000 hours combined for every computer game I've ever played. Now if you had asked about poker, well that's a different story...

  • In Starcraft Brood War I had around 20,000 games or so played. It has been a long time so I don't remember the exact number.
  • I don't have the exact /played, but I spent years playing Dark Age of Camelot. I was in a set 8 man pulling in 250k+ realm points every week and had several RR10+ characters.
  • The original Counter-strike gets an honorable mention. I played from 1.0 up to Source heavily in a competitive fashion.

I don't have a lot of time to play these days, but I have a couple hundred hours into Destiny between 3 characters.

Those MMOs are deadly..
Prolly a couple thousand+ in Dungeons & Dragons Online
Most other big hour games, around 500 max

Looks like i was a lightweight in WoW with only like 400ish days played over a 6 year period. Now i feel a little bit better

World of Warcraft here as well. I used to get a sick feeling when looking at the /played time on some of my toons.

Runescape, Logged almost 1 year of playing time

Then WoW, played for 2 expansions (WotLK and Cataclysm)

Then probably other minor games, D2/LoD, D3/RoS, Fallout 2, FO3, FO:NV & Skyrim all have logged over 100 hours

2,600 hours on TF2.

I gave up that game and online gaming in general about a year ago. Too time consuming and too many dickheads. I would like to get back into online FPSes at some point, but I have no motivation to seek out mature, competitive communities - which are few and far between.

That's insane. How are you not dead of a blood clot in your femoral artery?

I had about 4k hours in Vanilla / BC WoW

If Starcraft 1 kept your game time back in the day I'm assuming I would have several thousand.

CS 1.6 and Source probably would have a combined about a 1k

Since Steam has started tracking time though I haven't been as active as I was in my late teens.

My current highest is 170 hours in BL2

They aren't that hard to find. Find servers with all-talk disabled, and you're narrow the asshat-to-player ratio significantly. But some ppl feel it's not really fun with all-talk off. I've never understood that, especially for a co-op/objectives based game like TF2.

CS GO : 1300 hours. A good chunk of it was from trading or idle.

WoW - played vanilla all the way up to lich king had every single class to 70 at that time and one of the few DKs who had the legendary weapon. Good thing was I saved alot of money not going out

Now its LoL taking my time

Civ IV probably by far, considering I have been playing it for a decade.

I think if you add up total hours across the franchise, it might be Call of Duty.

#1 Team fortress 2 before it went free to play and they fukced it up.
#2 Battlefield bad company 2
#3oblivion
#4 Fallout New Vegas
#5 tie - pretty sure it was UT99 and quake 3 arena
#6 counter strike

Diablo3/RoS 1200+Hours
Civ5 500+ Hours
Path of Exile 100+ Hours(I have not played this in a year or so, it is a good game)
WoW Vanila/BC,WotLK 2+ years of heavy raiding = more hours than I want to think about.
