ASUS Matrix OR Poseidon - CHOOSE YOUR WEAPON!

The MATRIX card will be folding while i'm not on the PC.

Upgrading my rig, so the other guest rig can be upgraded with what I have now, and the HTPC can then get a nice upgrade, and then a card available for whom-ever needs a better card than what they have now :)

Maybe something will go rIght this year. Building a living room game box with the Matrix would be awesome.

Giving it to my wife for her gaming machine I just built for her Christmas present!

trying to decide which display setup to push with it; the 3@1080 24" or the 30" 1440

and gaming my ASS off over the holidays!

Assuming we're talking about the newly announced GTX 980 based Matrix or Poseidon, I'd choose the Matrix and replace the already awesome STRIX GTX 970 in my gaming rig. I'd then move the STRIX GTX 970 to the HTPC in the living room so that I could enjoy gaming with all of my cousins and my little brother whom often come to visit. I might be 39 years old, but I love me some eye candy whenever I get the chance and Maxwell sure seems to deliver...

I haven't been disappointed with an ASUS card yet. I used to be an EVGA only guy, but that changed last year when I got my Asus DirectCU II GTX 660. The thing just oozed quality and that's continued all the way to the current gen cards. I love it!

Harness the power of Poseidon to exact revenge on Kratos.

Well either that or play Elite: Dangerous in downsampled 4K.

evga shipped my step-up 980s today, but i'd still be all over one of those poseidon cards give-away or not.

I would replace my evga 780 ti with 980 matrix also will buy a second matrix and run them in sli .
I would love to see them over my Asus Rampage IV black edition :D .
Thanks for Asus for doing such a giveaway .

Edit: Also this:: Beat kingpin :D !

I would give the GTX 980 Matrix to a long time friend to upgrade his current video card and so he would be able to experience the smoothness the Matrix would provide to his games.

I would then take my friend's old video card (GTX 680 4GB) and install it into his college son's system in order to run the various programs he uses for college (Maya, AutoCAD, etc).

Friend's son older video card (I forget the model) would be listed in the [H] FS/FT Freebies thread to help an [H] member out.

Will be replacing my Asus EAH4870 Dark Knight that has treated me very well over the years. Maybe kick me into gear to build a new gaming rig after the new year to really showcase it's power.

Replacing the 750Ti in my HTPC with a real gaming card to go along with the 4k TV (and receiver) I just bought. The 750Ti was a great card for a 1080P media center but 4k? Pfft...hardly.

i'd be replacing my 460 gtx 1gb with it and then load up the most graphical intensive game i can get my hands on.

I'd just go crazy and blow waaay past my budget for my new build so that I can, for once in my life, say I've got a top of the line rig (even if only for a short while).

I would choose the Poseidon and sell my 290's to fund a second Poseidon for liquid SLI. Drop those babies in my loop and then purchase an ASUS ROG Swift for some G-sync madness :D

Clutching it tightly to my bosom, with some bourbon.
