Going with 32" 4k or 34" 3440x1440. Any opinions on this?

With my SLI 780 setup, I believe I could manage 60 fps in most games maxed with the 21:9 display, but not the former. Especially when considering games like The Witcher 3 are on the horizon. I could upgrade my cards, but I'd rather not until 6 or 8GB RAM cards are released.

On the other hand, 21:9 concerns me since some games don't support that res. I guess I'd still effectively have a 27" 1440p display in that situation (with black bars on the sides).

Anyone run at a lower resolution on a 4k display in order to keep the eye candy maxed? Does it make the picture overly blurry? I really don't want to have to reduce settings.

At 4K you get enough pixels that you can turn down eye candy settings. Or so I'm told.

My opinion would be neither, but rather 32" 1440p or 40-50" 4K.

I'd pick 4K, much more pixels for similar price.
