I am looking to raise some funds to cover some unexpected financial shortfalls, I believe this would make someone a great gift. This camera comes as shown below and will work as expected. My heat is jackofalltrades and I have well over 100+ positives. Prices are not set in stone but please no low balling.

Canon EOS DS6041 CAMERA BODY, canon 75-300mm lens, canon EFS 18-55 lens, sigma 50mm macro 1:2.8 lens, compact flash reader and 2 cf cards one is 512 meg the other is 4gig, lens filters, cleaning kit batteries and charger and canon bag for everything. I am looking to get $250 shipped in USA!.

I'm looking to sell a HP Touchpad 32 gig running android 4.1 with touchstone charger and wall charger the rubber case with screen protector.

I will entertain offers but am looking for 75 shipped in the USA for this.
Pictures available upon request just because I'm lazy and have not taken them yet.

Bump. Not a bad camera to buy for its price for a SO who is interested in learning photography

I got a Canon 400D very recently in trade with just the starter kit lens.

Do you think it would be better as a beginner to get your bundle? The sigma 50mm macro 1:2.8 lens alone, is around that price I think.

I'm more of a Nikon person but have had some interests in some Canon point and shoot cameras. If u aren't going to do any videos, that DS6041 with the above mentioned lens would make a good starter kit. You can always progress to a more advanced camera and lens further down the line after getting your techniques down.

The 400D is probably waaaaaaaay overkill for a beginner. You probably won't use 20% of the possible features of that camera for quite some time......However, if you are serious about learning photography then you might consider keeping that and adding lenses to it in the future.

The system that the OP has would make a much better "beginner" system, and it actually has a ton of total manual settings once you start learning what ISO speeds, "f" stop, and all the other things that go along with photography is.

You could buy this combo and sell the 400D to fund this without issues.

Thanks guys, appreciate the input!

How old is the body? Do you know the click count? Very interested...and bump!

I really don't know how to even check those questions if you know how to do it tell me and I'll tell you.

On some cameras, there is a function in the Settings Menu that will give you "Shutter Count". As far as the age, I was just generally asking when did you buy the camera...lol

I bought the camera second hand from a member here about 1 year ago my wife played with it a lot at first but work and school and kids stopped all that.

I have listed this camera on ebay but it is buy it now so it will be available until it sells.
